Seems like they're going through all the phases of the app store... Maybe they'll add loot crates next
It’s been a while since I checked the app and it’s… changed. Now, the vs Tetris is ticket-based. Run out of tickets and you have to buy them. To buy them needs coins, and there are now IAPs all the way up to fifty bucks. But that’s not all! Remember how you could once buy out the ads? Now that’s three bucks PER MONTH. Oh, and if you’re mad enough to splash out 50 bucks on IAP, that STILL only gets you 30 days of ad-free play. Almost makes you wish EA could come back. Still, at least we now know: Tetris on iPhone is poison and to be avoided.
@CraigG you can still play EA’s version if you purchased it previously. I got Tetris Premium for iPad on my purchase list and nonfunctional leaderboards aside, everything works just fine. Just saying.
Im happy Ive still got the old EA iPad version. All this freemium IAP stuff in this version restricts the play with tickets and ads.
