AKA Minecraft as a side-scrolling platformer RPG.
    Behold:

    Official site

It looks promising. I'm excited. I just got it running on my Mac. I'll be back with impressions later. Anyone of you love/hate/meh it?

P.S. Dev says it is coming to iOS (eventually.)

This game is awesome. I've been following it even before release. It is like minecraft, but less emphasis on building. It focuses more on fighting monsters, getting ore, and explorations to get better gear. It's fairly priced and it's also getting frequent updates. If you want to get this game, get it soon because i hear it's price might raise within a few weeks.

i got it off steam awhile ago. when you start to play it, hours go by...

like it, but have to have the whole day free before i can start it up.

probally put about 35 hours so far. 10 bucks. i'd say its totally worth a purchase if you like the genre.

I liked the sound of a 2D Minecraft, but less emphasis on building?... hmm.

The world is made of large blocks that you mine to craft items and construct shelters to protect you from the monsters that come out at night. All the core elements of Minecraft are there. Granted, it also borrows elements from other video game greats. I am going to go so far as to call this the first Minetroidvania.

Well, i meant that you would focus more on getting better stuff than getting a nicer/stronger house. Once you get most of the end game stuff though, i think you would focus on making your house awesome. I mean i've seen house utilizing the vines to make their house seem exotic, and you could also make gold/silver/copper etc. bricks easier than in minecraft. Oh, and there are rare pink and green (and blue i think) blocks you can mine from a dungeon. I'll let you find out for yourself what that dungeon holds.

Got this the other day and it just absorbs time. I finally beat the eater of worlds.
Would have been a lot easier in multi-player. Now off to my worlds dungeon.

You ran it on your Mac OS, or a Windows partition? From what I see it can't be ran on a Mac :(
