From what I've read about the game, it's much more of an RPG. You can attract NPCs by building housing and defenses, you craft new and powerful weapons (some are really cool), and fight enemies, explore, and defeat bosses
Hey gang, I have to ask the question that hasn't been addressed yet. Has anyone said this is coming to iPhone/iPod, and not just iPad?
Hmm, it would be fairer to say Junk Jack is like this, but yes, the idea is similar, just with far more combat in this one.
I saw a youtube last night saying it was coming to iPhone too. I think it was here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3jFCb2d310
Yeah! I wonder how it will work on the smaller screen, but I'm willing to give it a shot. My iPad is my tablet gaming platform of choice, but then Minecraft PE plays better on iPhone in my opinion so we'll see. Maybe Terraria will be super great for iPhone too!
Here's hoping. I've been a long-time PC Terarrian, and even invested some time in the console version. I'm iPad-less, so hopefully the small screen creates large amounts of fun.
You write your own story along the way as you fight through the dungeons, challenge the epic bosses, or on the ultimate quest for loot in the expansive world of Terraria!
Yeah, it's kind of like minecraft in that respect. There is not over-arching storyline exactly. However, it's not like minecraft at all. The focus is definitely on action and combat and upgrading your loot. For the longest time I played it like minecraft and didn't get anywhere. You have to think and approach the gameplay very differently.
