I think he thought this was a different thread. I've seen him following the Monster adventures thread and that game is being released on the 10th. He might have mistaken that thread for this one.

After some tedious work, and thanks to my backed up world, I managed to bring my character back to where he was. Well I'm missing diving gear and a cloud in a bottle, but other then that, I've caught up. Turns out I have to wait for the guide to move in before i can spawn in the WoF. Wasted like 3 voodoo dolls cause I was impatient >_<

 

Well Codeglue says on Twitter that the update (fix) has already been submitted to Apple

 

That's good news. I hope they get it right this time.

 

Update bugs all hard mode items any use exits the game hopefully 1.03 fixes this as 1.02 did add some more support for them (strangely) so until this is fixed hard mode mode is on hold

 

I'm scared. Somebody try it first.

 

Ooh which update are you saying bugs hardmode? As you said "hopefully 1.03 fixes this".....when 1.03 was out or almost out at the time of your post!

That's good to know. Maybe they bugged it on purpose? Have they ever actually said that hard mode is available and playable?

Either way I will probably wait until hard mode is available before I get back into this. Monster Adventures is calling my name now. I'll probably be playing that for a while with some IB3 in between somewhere.

 

That's a good point. I thought he was talking about 1.03

 

1.03 is now out and everything seems back to normal for me. Didn't lose anything and no more spawn text spam.

 

Let's hope no other bugs pop up and hopefully the 1.2 update comes eventually!!!

 

1.03 is playable and gets rid of the spawn text guys. So far, the update is good.

 

Glad the update fixed the messages but my first world is still bugged and unplayable. Light from the character can be seen in the upper left corner but the rest of the screen is black. I thought the update was supposed to fix this bug? Anyone else have the same issue?

 

Is there a penalty if you die? I did and I can't tell if I lost anything. I know a tombstone pops up

 

You lose half your cash you carry with you.

i.e. I die with 10 gold, 50 silver and 100 bronze coins I'd only have half that

 

Just realised while playing that there are some sprites that are missing on active mobs. I believe it was dragon skulls I kept facing but there is nothing there when I fight them.

 

Have all gold armour and weapons. Got my arse handed to me by Cthulhu and the goblin army. Demonite is a bitch to find. What do you guys recommend to build for weapons or armour? Should I continue to explore and hope I find good chests
