    I need a few more days with this, as I've literally just found this out. I would say its 70% already there, with some UI missing and some sprites.

    The bosses all work when summoned and have all there animations and sounds etc, I'll see what they drop when defeated and how it compares to the PC version.

    The wings and other hard mode perks all work fine and have ios UI icons and text listed.

    I would say they are working on hard mode implementation as the content has been reworked

    Terraria problem with iOS7

    I have problem with starting Terraria after updates to iOS7. Terraria freeze on main screen and nothing else happens. I have the same problem on my daughter's iPad2 and my own iPad4:-( Does anyone have the same problem?

    Nice work Ooooh and good to hear your thoughts are they look to be working on hardmode since there's rework.

    Had any time with the bosses? Any nice drops?

    Also I saw you have the hamdrax! Were you the original person that came on here and posted they got it as a drop in a chest?? Can't remember. Or did you finally find one?

    Hey guys, since I didn't update, I can still play, but now I have broken 2 shadow orbs, and no meteors have fallen :( any reason for this?
    Also, for some reason, when accessing chests and exiting the chest, I will have grappled something with my vine, even though it was/is not my selected item. Bug?

    If I'm correct there's meant to be a meteor drop in three days after a shadow orb is broken and a small chance of a random meteor after one is broken, I have only broken one shadow orb and have harvested two meteor so I don't know what might be going on for you. As for the grapple I think there is a bug that uses the last item in your quick select because the same happened to me with the grappling hook but I also nearly destroyed my castle as I dropped dynamite when closing a chest. Just be careful what you carry around your buildings.

    Yeah ok thanks! I was in the dungeon looking for dungeon slides when I got the meteor message :)
    I had just recently beaten the EoW.
    Will more shadow orbs spawn?
    What should I do now that I have a nightmare pick axe?

    Congratulations man, I'm not even that far yet although I probably would be if the app wasn't broken. I believe there is only two shadow orbs, if you are after more meteors then as I mentioned there is a small chance of random drops after the first orb is broken. I am no expert really, the iphone port is my first proper play of Terraria, I only played the demo on xbox and watched the TA video review so I'm not aware of the Shadow pickaxe. As for money I don't know any real strategies but I found myself rolling in a fair bit after goblin raids otherwise you can sell ores and minerals that you can't see yourself using.

    Well some worlds can have three. The first time I fought the eater of world I failed big time. I broke 3 shadow orbs and then as I was fighting him I magic mirrored because I had built a house in the corruption and set my spawn there, thinking it'd teleport me back, but it teleported me back to homebase D:

    bosses too easy?

    It's been a couple weeks since I've picked this game up again. I burned through quite a bit of it when it was first launched. I am a huge, huge fan of the PC version and can't wait for the 1.2 update tomorrow!

    Maybe it's just because I'm used to how difficult the bosses are in the PC version, but I thought Skeletron was incredibly weak. I think I beat him with my minishark with less than 200 bullets. The experience is still fun, but this mobile version seems very easy.

    I'm surprised you can even fire the minishark accurately with these mobile controls and zoomed in aspect! I find any projectile weapon difficult to aim with these controls

    Actually, I really love how well the controls work on iOS. My only complaint is the floating joysticks. Also, I'm playing on my iPad vs my iPhone. It makes a big difference.

    Just a quick update ... I've tried all hard mode bosses and they are killer hard, exactly as in the PC with hallow armour, gungnir and a set of light discs I was wiped out easily by all bosses and hardly done 1/3 damage!

    The hamdrax I edited in, I searched and searched and couldn't find it :(

    All new ores have there UI in the craft menu so I'm certain a hard mode add on is being worked on

    I wonder if they will tone them down like they did the original bosses for iOS version. I remember the first time I played Skeletron on PC. It was so tough. I understand needing to tone things down slightly for the handheld versions, but Skeletron was just a bit of a let down. Still, not enough for me to stop playing.

    I don't think they should tone things down, instead they should leave the total health at 20, as the controls work really well. Possibly extend this to 30 hearts or 15 hearts that you can half fill to equal same amount of points.

    In comparison the hard mode bosses are out of this plannet now compared to the previous ones. Done skeleton with the same weapons and armour set from hard mode and it was all over in less than a minute with no potions!

    I also expect this is an extremely 'safe' port as this runs on a 3GS - which has very little ram. I'm sure an iPhone 4+ could handle a normal small world map... I've made some good progress with all this and will aim to port a character with various hard mode items and post a link here so you guys can try this stuff out. . .

    Yeah, I don't really want them to tone things down either. I just had noticed they had for the early level bosses. I'm excited to see what they add in future updates. Also excited for 1.2 tomorrow!

    A uninstall-install worked like a charm for me. Sure, I lost all my progress but it's so much fun building it back up again aaaand I can play Terraria again so woooo. Oh on ios7 with an iPhone 5 btw.
