Universal Terraria - (by 505 Games)

Breaker sword, laser rifle and Clockwork assault rifle were all that I got. Reforged the Breaker sword to Legendary, the Clockwork assault rifle is pretty awesome too. Laser rifle just consumes mana >_> then I got emblems. I have an extra guide voodoo doll to use just incase.

Except, the thing about the maneater statue question. It isn't like a normal statue that you can break with a hammer. Whenever you tap on it with the hammer, you lose about 4 hearts. I don't really get it but I just stay away from those things. Crazy annoying.

Edit: ok, turns out it was a demon altar, and I just confused it with a maneater statue. My bad.

 

Sorry stupid question how do you reforge?

 

Yeah so these demon altars... What does one make with them?
No extra options are available when I try to forge next to them.

 

You can use the Demon Altar to make thinks like Slime Crown, Worm food and Suspicious looking eye. Can't break the demon altar unless you the Pwnhammer or hamdrax iirc.

You need to defeat the goblin army and get the goblin tinkerer to come, then you can reforge.

 

Ah ok thanks sambo. So it is just used to create the boss-summoning stuff.

Just a general question to anyone- are you trying to contain your corruption and/or hallow (if you have beaten the WoF)? I'm not sure if I should try to stop them, but it IS a lot of work, and one simple mistake can cause your whole world to become corrupt/hallow.
Not to mention corruptors which could spread corruption, or breaking demon altars, which randomly corrupts a part of the world.

So what's your opinion?

 

There is no Hardmode remember? So no hallow. After beating WoF 10+ times I'm pretty sure.

I would just like to confirm something...
Shadow orbs are surrounded by ebonstone. A nightmare pickaxe can mine ebonstone. Shadow scales are required to make a nightmare pick axe. Shadow scales come mostly from the Eater of Worlds. The EoW spawns when three shadow orbs are broken.

So how do I get around this tricky scenario?

 

Buy purification powder from the dryad.

 

Ahh thanks. After doing some quick reading I found out bombs and dynamite could also be used.

 

You can also summon the Eater of Worlds with worm food. (Vile powder + rotten chunks @ demon alter). This skipping the three shadow orbs issue.

You can craft vile powder from the mushrooms that grow in te corruption. If you have trouble finding any, create a level area of dirt in the corruption and they will start growing there. Rotten chunks you get from killing the eaters in the corruption.

 

Okay thanks I did that does he have to move in then? Because I found him and bought some stuff but found no reforge option.

 

Or dynamite and bombs away! This is quite an expensive and innacurate option though compared to the purification powder.

Hey if your underground, and the background is veins of lava, does this mean I am in the underworld?

 

I wish the message board was somewhere else, like the top-middle of the screen. My thumb sometimes obstructs this, and I could miss things like boss warnings, potential NPCs, Blood moons etc.

 

How do you make NPCs move out/move into a different place? Because the goddamn clothier stole my room!

That's one of the things that I'd like to see tweaked too.
