I managed to make the spectre boots just fine. Also got meteorite armour and a thorn chakram as well. Someone earlier in the thread suggested putting the ingredients in a chest then exit game and then go back in, take the ingredients out of the chest and try to craft again. I can't vouch for this method but I crafted mine ( iPhone 5 no JB, latest IOS). Edit : had to craft them at the Tinkerers Workshop.
Yeah. I tired that several times actually. Still didn't work. I even tried making a new character, putting them in a chest, picking them up with the new character and still nothing. I don't know. I'm using a 4s no JB and latest OS. I don't think that matters though. I tried transferring my saves over to an iPhone 4 and it still doesn't work.
Well at first Spectre boots wouldn't craft for me. I put it in a chest and then I restarted app then looked at my crafting bench then took the items out and it worked. I want Warrior clothing but still have to find jungle seeds. I hope hard mode comes out, I have the best armor etc, maybe I'll aim for finding a hamdrax/pieces if Dragon armor in chests. Oh and what kind of accessories do you guys use? I use Diving gear, band of regeneration, cloud in a balloon, spectre boots and an obsidian shield.
WOW thanks man!!! This way worked for me also!!! I had tried before the put in the chest and reload the app method but didn't work... The difference is that this time i looked at my crafting bench before take them out from the chest, as you said... and.. vouala.. Now i m wearing my new spectre boots!!! Thanks for the hint!!!!!!!!!
There are indeed floating islands in the iOS version. Not as prevalent as in the PC version due to smaller world sizes, but you should still be able to find ~2 islands/world.
My first three attempts before a week didn't work for me too... Today was the lucky day.. so don't lose your hopes.
What I'm wondering is where to find a Lucky Horseshoe so I can make an Obsidian Horseshoe. Hm, maybe I should try to farm a second set of Molten Armor so I can have it for display. Still debating on whether to keep or sell my second set of meteor armor I have. They're both on display. I aim to get all or at the very least MOST of the armors in the game and set them up for display.
I can't craft worm food at a demon alter. Is there a trick for this ? I bought my vile powder from the merchant so maybe I need to farm dropped vile powder instead ? I will try putting the ingredients in a chest and then open the crafting table then log out and in again etc to see if that helps. Any other ideas gladly appreciated ! Edit : never mind - I was trying to use purification powder instead of vile powder by mistake !
I had this bug, you need to get a glass bottle and the vile mushroom and create the powder and then like magic worm food is avliable to craft!
Hey guys Im wondering if you delete the game is the save lost? Is there any way I can backup the save file? I'm not jailbroken.
If you use a file-drop software like iExplorer or iFunbox, just navigate to the Terraria folder and make manual backups of the character and world files on your computer.
Yeah. This works pretty well. I've even used this method to transfer game saves to other devices. Without iCloud this is the next best option.
I'd honestly much rather get the ridiculous amounts of bugs fixed and get multiplayer too. I actually really like the virtual controls in Terraria and think that the game would be pretty bad with a controller.
Yes - one thing the touch screen does well is dual-stick controls, and the hybrid dual stick / touch was much better done here than I would have ever expected. The only thing I could hope for with the controls would to be able to fix them in place and possibly add a dedicated jump button on the right... ...and I'd take bug fixes before that.
