Maybe it has some other pets from the console version too. I can't craft spectre boots for some reason. Do I need normal unchanged Hermes boots for me to combine my rocket boots to make Spectre boots? I have the tinkerer's workshop and what not.
I have the cabbage too and keep my pet running around after me all the time. Nippy little fella. I'm currently trying to find the Spoiler doll in the underworld but have been having no luck. Any hints, tips or advice would be much appreciated.
Hooks are gotten as rare drops from Skeletons, Undead Miners, or any other creature in the skeleton family. Drop chances are very slim, so be prepared to grind a lot to find one. The two most basic guns are the handgun, which is found in chests in the Dungeon biome, and the musket, which can be found when breaking shadow orbs in the Corruption biome. Other guns can be purchased from the Arms Dealer or crafted from basic tier guns.
I have been all through the underworld and only found 2 shadow chests. Is that all there is? Do they ever respawn? Also I am having a ton of difficulty crafting a watch of any tier. I have workbench/ chair/ table all next to eachother, am I missing some other requirement?
Shadow Chest spawns seems to be much less frequent in this version, probably because of the much smaller world size. I would just create a new world and dig down to the bottom, which won't take you very long anyways. The watches are currently uncraftable and is a known bug.
So I noticed that Terraria is available on Android now, which is cool for Android users. However, why is it free?... We had to pay $5 for the game. Did they go with a freemium model for android or is it just straight up free? Or maybe just a release promotion and its going to go back up?
You play the tutorial, then you unlock the full game for $5 with IAP. Think of it like a "lite" version where you can unlock the full version in the app.
I see. That makes sense then. When I saw it up for free I was like, "What the heck!? That's not fair."
Having it up as IAP also 'somewhat' helps against the rampant piracy on the platform, which is more prevalent than on iOS.
Does anyone know if 505 has mentioned a timeline for bug fixes? I'm getting really annoyed that I can't make Spectre Boots. I managed to make an Obsidian Shield today though. So at least I know the tinkerer's workbench works.
They said some time in the next 4-7 weeks. Can't post a link to it because I have no idea where I read that ( I believe someone else posted a picture of the tweet on the terrariaonline.com forrums.) they also said they'll be adding multiplayer ( not sure if it will be in the same update or a different one but it sounded like it would be the same update.)
I just had the most annoying crash. I just spent the last 45 minutes stretching a bridge across the underworld and just a minute ago my game crashed on me. I went back into my game and I lost everything that I've been doing for the last 45 min! Wow... I'm just going to go to bed now... Frustrating... This game doesn't have an auto saving feature or something? How do you play that long and have no save at some point.?It seems like the only time the game saves is when you quit or die? Is there another way to save your game?
