I'm starting to think ocean. It wasn't on the one floating island I found and I haven't been able to find anymore
I don't understand how people can stand junk jack x.. I got both, and I regret getting jjx. In my opinion, the controls are horrible. To move, you swipe, and you can't move and jump, or move and mine like you can in terraria. Also, jjx just seems boring. This is just my opinion, however I find terraria much more exiting and... Cooler Terraria for the win!
Found a famelash in a purple chest last night Anyway I'm nearly ready for wall of flesh so ill post up what happens when it's done!!
I bought both. I bought terraria first so it's got my time right now. I'll find time once I'm done with t for jjx. I don't think I'll regret it thought
The games are quite different that's for sure but it is all in user preference. I personally enjoy JJ more and the reason is it is more focuses on just building your own creations with no set goals. I can definitely see why some people might not enjoy it and when the original launched it did take time to grow on me. Terraria feels more focused on just adventuring, it seems to set some goals for users to work towards. If I'm in the mood where I just want to mindlessly build cool stuff (which is usually at a pretty slow pace) I start up JJX, if I'm in the mood to play something and feel like I've accomplished a lot then I play Terraria. Maybe when the urge to play Terraria wears off some you can go back to JJX and give it some more time because it is a fun game to let your imagination run wild and build some wicked stuff.
Junk Jack (original) was fun for a few days but in the end seemed pointless. Minecraft PE didn't grab me either. I am absolutely hooked on Terraria and may even buy the PC version in anticipation of the new "Major Update". Weird but I haven't been so interested in any game title since Diablo 2 in which I spent an embarassing amount of gameplay hours... Mephisto runs from 9am to 9pm! I built a new computer just to play Diablo 3 and quite frankly the game is a FAIL. There is alot of meat here, you need to reference the wiki site to understand how much you can actually do in this game. I have learned to build gold generators and obsidian generators... Can't wait for hard mode. Just have the Wall of Flesh to contend with . The game stability is under review from the developer, it isn't without flaw. The major bug is a tile wipe pf the entire world. Bad news for all the chests you stashed your loot, but your personal inventory stays with you. Till the bug is worked out, keep your best items in your inventory...... This link should help uncover the depth of this game (no offense to the Toucharcade review), but they never scratched the sandbox surface. http://terraria.wikia.com/wiki/Terraria_Wiki
I was stuck in the tutorial. It asks me to place a chair. I did that. Nothing happen. Could anyone give advice pls?
I got stuck here too. Try filling in those gaps on the walls a little better. Also, I can't tell how many blocks high your house is but I believe it says it needs to be 6 blocks high.
Where's the Dryad? I've killed the Eater of Worlds, and Eye of Cthulhu multiple times and still no Dryad. I also have three empty rooms in my house with a chair/table and lights. Is this an other bug, or am I missing something? Steve
The floor could have been dirt. It'll work with wood too. As mentioned, you don't have a light source. You need one. If that doesn't work fill in the gaps in the back wall.
Yeah, I'll probably try it again after I'm more advanced in terraria. Im sure i could get used to it, however ill need to slow my pace down and switch to a more 'creative' mind . (In terraria I've hardly even built a house, yet I've explored HEAPS)
Making final preparations for wall of flesh today. So will finally know if hard mode is here or not!!
