We have decided that its a typo. 10 hearts is the max. I have 10 hearts with about 25 saved in my inventory. Sell them to a NPC. You can make 8 gold a piece. Easy money.

But you have to confirm in order to delete either a world or a character. That means that you accidentally pressed the delete button, and then confirmed that you wanted to delete your world/character.
Just go into the corruption in your world and break a shadow orb. Then wait until the following in-game day and a meteor should fall somewhere in your world. Mine meteor ore, create bars, profit. Alternatively, break 3 shadow orbs/create worm food to summon the Eater of Worlds, which you should easily be able to defeat with gold equipment. Collect the Demonite Ore and Shadow Scales, make shadow armor, profit.
I did it too. I was half asleep but only have myself to blame. Luckily I'm a hoarder and I still had my world and nearly all my old gear so I just in effect lost what I was wearing and my inventory. I started a new character and world and have transferred a lot of my items from the previous one. I have almost got my gold armour back and maxed my health and mana again. I only need to upgrade my grapple to the Ivy Whip and beat Cthulhu again and i will be more or less where I was with my old character.

YEP, sure did!! Who reads those POP-UPs anyway? My fat fingers/thumb have hit the trash can, just by holding the iPhone. I BET I'm not the only one. BUT I've learned to be more careful.
YEP - that's me... Argghhhh But honestly, I've hit the trash can, just by holding my phone. Which brings up the confirm pop-up, I clicked YES, somehow thinking it would load the game. This is only ONE CLICK in this case, and it's GONE.. Much safer on my iPad, so far this has ONLY been an iPhone problem. Steve
Corruption is an area of the world that has a purplish back ground and you will notice purple grass and tree. When you see that, you are in the Corruption Biome. Steve
Someone on the official Terraria forums mentioned that they found Dragon Armor in Chests. Can anyone confirm this? Dragon Armor, by the way, is the best armor in the console versions of Terraria. Better than PC Hallowed armor. I think the full set provides 60 Defense. So, if Dragon Armor can be found, that is a huge bug. If you find any, keep it. This has alot of console equipment in it, the mobs and weapons etc. I've come across doctor bones too haha
What does the orb look like though? Also how do I mine the lava blocks? I have a gold pickaxe is that not enough?
In my world right before the corruption which is on the right in my world, I used my rocket boots and noticed vines hanging down in the sky. Built my bridge and there it was. Gold chest surrounded by gold brick and ton of gold ore. Used all my keys in the dungeon so I have yet to open it
Yes, you need a much better class of pickaxe to mine that ebonstone. You may not quite be in a position to craft that pickaxe yet. Fortunately, there are alternatives - easily found if you look at the wiki, or if you prefer not to spoil your way, by thinking a little. Imagine: You want to get to something beyond a wall of rock. Is wielding a pickaxe the only way to get at it?
Finally summoned the eater of world. Pretty easy with the strategy I used. Now time to find that meteor! I have been all over the top map looking for the meteor. How far down could it have impacted?
. Dragon helm confirmed. Found in the bottom of a lake at surface level. Crazy defense. Made several farming games and only get breathing pipes and tridents. Glitch of random rare chance?
Spoiler You need at least the nightmare pickaxe to mine both the ebonstone (corrupted stone) and lava stone. For ebonstone, just use either a bom/dynamite to blow it up, or buy purification powder if you have a Dryad NPC. It's pretty noticeable since it's a huge chunk of land blocks turned into glowing red blocks with fire skulls floating around. It always impacts the surface, with a couple exceptions. Either you got extremely unlucky and the meteor hit a floating island, or it's at the bottom of either ocean.
