So whats the deal with mana anyway? What is it used for, I have never used it or seen anything use it.
From what I can see the current max health and mama points you can have is 200, so 10 segments, you cannot raise it any higher right now
You can get spells ( like the ones demons throw) that you can use. The item itself is normally a book but it does different things depending on the book that you have. Other weapons also use mana like the previously stated fire flower, a water rod, and a laser gun that the wall of flesh drops.
Wow! So I dont even have a full set of gold armor yet and the eye of whatever showed up and I killed it. Is that the end of the game? Also it said I made it to the bottom of the world but I dont even remember doing that.
Nope. That's not end game. There is a dungeon ( talk to the old man at night to summon a giant skeleton boss) there is a giant worm boss (I think it's called "the destroyer of worlds" but I can't remember.) there is a boss called the wall of flesh. And that's just scratching the surface. If you want to find out more, I suggest going to a wiki of some kind about the game.
I know a little from watching friends play and then reading a little on the wiki. You aren't even scratching the surface. There are 5 bosses in this version. I found my first corrupted biome and still haven't even seen the dungeon. I would kill for this to release on mac so I can play at home with my Steam account.
What device are you on? Have you tried hard-resetting your device? A lot of people are reporting various crash problems and seem to be resolving them by just doing a hard-reset.
Third-gen iPad. I've rebooted the thing a few times, and waited out a full day/night cycle in-game, but it's still crashing when I talk to the shopkeeper.

I fired up terraria collectors edition 1.1.2 (PC) and made a small, medium and large world and converted then to ios format. Unfortunately although the game loaded and the world selected it ended in a infinite loop. The terraria mobile maps are 1.8mb, small (PC) is 4.8mb, medium (PC) is 12mb and large (PC) is 20mb. So the maps here are definetly alot smaller than the small world maps, I also tried the inveteoy editior and it didn't work (I'm non JB) I'm on an iPhone 5 running 6.1.4 Ill keep trying and see what else I can come up with hopefully this is useful to someone though!
Ok I'm having serious trouble with the eater of worlds. It's not that I'm dying against it, it's just that it will randomly dissapear on me mid battle. The first time I fought it I accidentally left the corruption and it dissapeared. The second time I built a small arena under the corruption to make sure I wouldn't be able to leave during the fight. And he STILL dissapeared. What's going on?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Worm food is pretty annoying to make.
Yes it's a bug I've experienced at least five times now. It also crashes for me when I try to walk past the edge of the map.
Only fix is to delete the world and start again ... I had this bug myself lucky it was early on! You can keep three worlds so if you need to keep that one you can. You will keep all you're loot but lose all world progress. I'm running three worlds at the minute and regularly replace them except for one with my home and main progress the other two I use for loot and drops etc
