Wall of flesh yes, hard mode I believe not - although I am going to compare the files to the PC version and see if it is tweakable or what is / isn't there
Guys to go lower and lower do you all use something to descend down or just jump and hope you survive?
@Amenbrother: They are potions for that, and items you can wear to cancel gravity related injuries, you can also do a double jump before you hit the ground but that's tricky. I prefer leaving a bit of water at the bottom so you don't get hurt when you fall in it.
I built a house on top of my pre-existing house, but no one will move into it. Do they all have to be groud floor dwellings?
No they don't. I have what looks like an apartment complex haha and 7 npc's live in the same building, they just each have their own room. You can use the ceiling of one house and make that the floor for another house. The wierd thing I'm encountering is the fact that I built a sort of bathroom in the basement (it's got one door leading to a bathtub and toilet and a couple of torches, no table or chair) and my arms dealer decided to live in it lol. It's either a glitch or apparently you don't need a table and chair.
Yes. I tested this out the other day. Download a program like iexplorer to you computer and plug in the device that has your current game save. Under iexplorer go to Apps, Terraria and then to the documents folder. If you only have one world and character there should be two files, one for your character and one for the world. Copy them to your computer. Plug in your other device. Go to the same location and paste those two file into the documents folder. Done. On the new device make sure it is a clean copy of terraria with no save files yet. I tried making a game on it first and then copying the files over and the game kept crashing afterwards. I think after you get the save files over and working you should be able to move the files back and forth without a problem.
I have serious problems getting people to move in houses too. I think I mined alot at first and now they get stuck places or something. Any way to counter this?
It's not the table and chair combo that is necessary, instead there are "comfort" and "flat surface" categories which the toilet and bathtub fit under
I have the guide living in a room without any furniture but a chest even though I made him a room with all the required items. I think NPC's are a bit glitched in this game to be honest. I hope it gets fixed soon cause it's actually really bugging me that my Guide isn't living where I want him to and I'm tempted to restart my world cause of it.
I am trying to make the Googles (use 2 lens and the work bench). I have the lens and tried to craft it, but it says that you need the work bench (I am near it, and all the others stuff to craft in the work bench works, except for the Googles).
Okay. I'm still stuck in the tutorial. I'm tasked to build a wall and ceiling at least 10 blocks wide and 6 blocks high . I came up with the following in the attached. I know it's very basic, but I just want to move on. Can someone please tell/show me what I'm doing wrong so I can move forward in the tutorial?
That... is a solid wall. You want to make a hollow one, like a house. 6 up, 10 across then 6 down with nothing in the middle.
Thank you, kind sir. (Yes, I'm new at this...) EDIT: After creating my character and saving the game, it froze up on my iPad 2 iOS 6.1.3. I had to remove the app from the background and relaunched the game for it to play again. I have over 6.5 GB on my device.
I'm getting a lot of crashes on iPad 3, it's driving me mad! It crashes for no reason, it crashes when I talk to a certain NPC, today it was crashing when I pressed pause! I restarted the iPad and I haven't tested yet.
