You need to build one structure for each person similar to the one in the tutorial. It has to have walls (background) a light source( a torch will work) and a table and chair.
It also needs to be six blocks tall and ten wide. If that and the other requirements are done, it should say that they "spawned" and the house will have a picture of them. They won't be far behind.
I never played Terraria before and I got too say it is a terrific game. However, there are a few things that bother me considering i'm using an iPod touch 4. The first thing is the zoom out function doesn't go far enough on this smaller device. I can't see the position of the sun or if it is a blood moon or whatever. Another reason the zoom out need to go out a little farther is because building structures are a pain on the smaller device because the top inventory bar is in the way of building upward. So allow the zoom out to go a little farther would be nice. The second thing I would like too see. Considering the iPhones and iPods are smaller and there is not enough room for the other five inventory slots like the ipad. I think it would be cool to have some kind of quick toggle switch instead that would change out the items to a secondary set of items. This would allow for quick selection of things without having to individually move out items all the time. So far Terraria is a great experience but there are some things that are not very ipod or iphone friendly at the moment. However, if these things are addressed the gamer experience would sky rocket for the iphone/ ipod users. I hope I can be heard by the devs.
The guide NPC says I may want to increase my life before the next challenge (whatever it is): "15 hearts should be enough." But I can't increase my hearts anymore. Nothing happens after reaching 10 hearts. What to do?
How do you put stuck in the Piggy Bank? I can place it on a table or on the work bench. I can re pick it up with a hammer, But I can get it to 'open' to put item in it?? Thanks
New to Terraria aswell so can't say if its a great port or not, but I'm sure loving this game. Don't usually have much time for this type of game except for Blockheads which I found very to pretty good/not perfect! But this is different class I can see me playing this for a long time, really getting into it still a bit confused with a few minor things but all in all it's worth every penny and more! I also bought Junk Jack X unluckily for it I hit Terraria first. Ill catch up with that and many other great ios games one day, you know that day that never comes! lol #

The water physics are awesome. It might be possible to drain a whole ocean and overwhelm the underworld.
How do you make silk for a bed? I have a loom along with over 300 cobweb but it does not show up in the crafting interface.
Wait what? How did you craft it? I've been trying so many different combinations to try and get it. Is it the same as the PC version or is there a different combination?
Hey guys, took a break from junk jack to play this haha. Anyway, I'm getting better t the controls which is the major issue I had with this game. With an iphone it's next to impossible to build something properly because the screen is too small for the zoom to work properly :/. Lots of frustration and lopsided buildings. Anyway, here's my question. No matter where I go, underground or miles on top of ground, when I leave the program and come back I am reset to spawn. Does this happen to all of you? I would like to be able to stop playing and come back to where I left off. Not constantly return to spawn. It makes it easy to collect all the material you want because all you have to do is quit and hen you come back you'll be back on the surface. Bug???? It's kinda annoying tbh. What if I want to go on a super mission? I have mirrors which are pointless when all I have to do is get a phone call or quit to return to spawn.
Its not a bug. It's a problem with the available memory on your device. My guess is your playing on an older generation device? On my 4s I can get out of the app and come back and the game is exactly where I left off. On my 1st gen iPad, everytime I leave the app and come back the app has to reload and I have to start over from my spawn point.
