Not flaming here, but it does actually say something along the lines of "make sure there are no gaps". Seems a few people have missed that text somehow.
Okay. I'm a noob at these types of games. I'm stuck in the tutorial. Namely, I'm asked to build a structure that is 10 blocks wide and 6 block high with a roof. I did this, but the tutorial doesn't move me to the next topic to learn which means that I did it incorrectly. Can someone lend a hand to a wayward Terrarian?
Great game - 10 hours played in less than 24 hours, work done - zero I've tried JJX and after this it just doesn't click, feels to slow paced and cumbersome, also terraria has no iap where as JJX does. Any way this is 110% my pick of the two - controls are great on iPhone 5 too and variable zoom levels.
The wiki is based off the PC version. It takes much much longer getting to max life on PC. Took me 15 minutes on iPad, I think it's a bit too easy !
On the website it is written that the 1.2 update is "PC only", so I guess this will be only on PC. I hope they change their mind in the future and release the update on everything !
It's not their mind that will need changed, it's Re-Logic. The developer (and original creator) of the PC version sold the rights to port and further develop Terraria for other platforms to 505 Games at the point he felt it was finished and he was done with the game (2 years later he has changed his mind obviously). So, for better or worse, they are completely separate products development wise at this point and there would have to be another agreement between the two parties before any of the 1.2 stuff will find its way to any other platform, iOS included.
Has anyone been able to make either a Depth Meter or a Gold/Silver/Bronze Watch yet? I'm assuming that the requirements are different from the PC version because they don't show up when I stand next to a table/chair.
Mining on the iOS version is so much easier... almost feels effortless. Whereas you just have to hold your finger near an 'area' of blocks to mine here, the PC version was a lot more precise in terms of where the mouse pointer had to be to mine it. I honestly prefer the iOS version now that i've tried it, but yeah, as someone above mentioned I reached 10 hearts after about an hour of playing.... too short.
Nope, it seems like the table/chair isn't working as a crafting station for some reason. Really hope this will get fixed soon.
Yeah. I actually did read it. The problem is that I wasn't considering those "gaps". Plus, when I was on the initial part of filling the walls up it moved on to the next part after putting all the walls up. With all of the "gaps". It's not that big of a deal. I get it now. It just wasn't very clear on what they meant by a gap and the fact that the tutorial acknowledged the fact that my wall was acceptable with the gaps didn't help at all.
Man I am normally not into these types of games but everyone here makes it sound so good that I am being tempted!
Every time I start my file my character just keeps falling until he hits the floors and dies. I tried closing the game off and starting again but it keeps doing it. This sucks cause I was actually starting to progress quite a bit.
Yeah, happened to me too. Only good thing is that everything in your inventory carries over when you start a new world
You're apparently not the only one facing this. I know I would hate it if that happened to my world right now so I really hope they fix that issue ASAP.
NOPE! Buy it now. I have not stopped playing this since getting it. I have minecraft and had junk jack. But can say I have never been a huge fan of the genre! But this game has made me fall in love!
