tried Leviathan Evolved (level 45 - 25 sta) and get Leviathan in 1st try; tried 2nd time with the same level but no job item drop; then I tried Leviathan Ultra (level 65 - 40 sta OMG) one but impossible to beat him where his helper used confusion and his ice storm with 3k defence and magic defence are crazy.... will gonna try again later. will be off town tomorrow, good luck everyone!! seem without SS mages are hopeless for job3 items
UPDATE: just got the job 2 item - Cobalt Goblet, and change Leviathan to Neo Leviathan stuck on Omega difficulty... anyone got any tips???? he is f**king crazy!!!
Wow.. kind of frustrated. My level 50 party can't even get close to beating the 2nd stage leviathian. He pincers my units + gets a free cross attack for massive damage. Then he uses his ultimate move and has confused my ENTIRE party 3 times in a row. Then does the cross move / summons reinforcements. Talk about cheap. He's probably easy if you have a good enough party to challenge 3rd stage but he's not even fair if you play near his level.
Ditto I tried twice today and sailed through until the boss fight and it doesn't matter what I do I get wiped out!
Read the other official Terra battle forum, they said ice spell can break his shield but afterward ice spell will heal him... I proved it - it did break the shield, but still stuck on Omega level even the shield is gone
That's actually one of my gripes, he doesn't scale well. I have the SS Ice mage, brought him and DESTROYED most of the levels. Then I got to his last stage and disrupted the shield and then realized I kept healing him for all the damage I gave him. It was really annoying. I left my ice mage out in the corner and we ended up losing because he confused my team and got 2-3 free turns of cross damage. Pretty cheap. What's the most effective way to destroy the shield? Just attack? I left out my ice mage the 4th try and we couldn't even destroy his shield and then he summoned more enemies right after I had killed them all.. He's a lot of energy and I'm debating if I should grind the first stage to try and get him even though the chances of drop are low. He already gave me an ice ring (what a troll). Edit: Frustrating. 1st Leviathan dropped me and ice ring. Second time he gave me a fire ring. What is wrong with these developers??

My one team I've developed Rikken 3rd job Level 38 Kuscah 3rd job level 59 Sha'plar 3rd job level 53 Samatha 3rd job level 50 Jennish 3rd job level 50 S'naip 3rd job level 58 This team gets destroyed against the 2nd Leviathan boss? So I replaced Rikken with A'merpact and was able to upgrade him immediately to 3rd job. Then I played two rounds of metal zone 4 and got him up to level 18. I tried the 1st Leviathan and beat the boss but only got a ring from the boss....what to do, who knows
No worries. First boss gave me rings each time i beat him. Still got nothing. I'm way more frustrated than I was fighting Bahamut...
Just had extreme luck and got Leviathan Descended! That was my third attempt. I put Rikken back on my team. I had no drops at all until I defeated the boss head on at the end. I thought oh well I guess I'm not going to get anything and then bang....I was very lucky Keep trying!
Wow good call. Read your message and decided to try. And got him immediately! Though I had a tougher time than the last battles since he killed my white mage.. Funny is that she still dropped a fire ring as if to say DON'T FORGET YOUR USELESS RINGS ON THE WAY OUT! Now we just need to figure out how to beat the second one..
I can beat the first 2 stages comfortably but I feel that this game is flat out unfair if you dont have levitate. Getting hit with maelstroms so often is ridiculous...a turn wasted without being able to heal because confusion.
Got Levi and its second job. Tried roughly 15 times with the first stage and never dropped, got it on first try in the second stage. Then got the job item on the next try. Now i'll tackle the last stage. My party formed with evergreen Bahamut, Eileen for Levitation and Kana, who should be useful with anti-confusion skill Clarity. All 70. Update: Tried third stage with the team attached. Got wiped like dust. I have to figure out how to remove its barrier, i used Zan with Ice Blade but it prolly needs more damage to be destroyed. Besides that, you HAVE to keep Levitation up, and use Clarity every turn. It's difficult, much more than the last boss. I'm not sure i can manage with my team as it is, not without wasting Energy. And that could not work as well. A little bit unfair, if i may. Update 2: I tried Ultra with the best setup i could come up with. I reached the boss by using 1 energy because everything must be done perfectly, even the tiniest mistake means wipe even before reaching Levi. Once i reached it, well... There is absolutely NO WAY to win this battle without taking off the barrier. I started with a full party, buffed and healthy, Levitation always active and Kana with Confusion Ward/Clarity. The adds are a real pain, they got lots of hp and once they are all dead they respawn. Due to Levi/adds attacks, positioning is REALLY hard. At least if you wanna hit something sometimes. After a 10-ish mins battle, i had barely scratched Levi's HP to an astonishing 95%, no less... Again, if someone doesn't come up with a way do destroy the barrier, i think it's on the impossible side to win this. As a personal impression, considering the whopping cost of 40 Energy per try and the possibility to NOT drop the item, i'd say that getting Levi's last job is frustratingly unfair. And thus, not funny or entertaining, unlike the great time i had till now with Terra Battle.

I destroyed the 2nd leviathan with levitate after he was wasting me so easily earlier. Levitate is a MUST for any leviathan battle. You can do without but it'll be way way more difficult. And I honestly don't think the last leviathan is beatable unless you have a 60-65 good synergy party. I think using 40 energy if you're lower than those levels is a waste of energy unfortunately.
Got her on first try. Luckily, since i could never do it again. There's a good tips post on Terra Battle Wiki. Quick tips: heavy ice damage for barrier, anti-ice capsule user, Levitation, Clarity, leave one minion alive. A li'l bit of luck and a lot of patience.
Congrats! I added Eileen for levitation to my strong team. She is job 3 level 45. She kept me alive until I beat Leviation evolved but I got a ring...blah! The only problem is my others characters on my team are not very good at destroying the ice shield so it took an eternity to play the boss level and then not to get anything for my time consuming effort. It's moments like this that make me want to delete this game and never look back. I was just wondering if when this event is over they will make those legendary items available some other way to upgrade my basic Leviathan? Anyways lots of fun.....I guess Maybe I should get back to the story....I'm at stage 21
