Universal Terra Battle (by Mistwalker Corporation)

Still fairly new to this awesome game and been trying to figure out the best, all-around team I can make with the characters I have and which ones I should start training for jobs. Any pointers or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hum, don't use your coins until you have 60 000 : 30 000 for your jobs, 30 000 for the tavern.

Raise your SS rank first.

The battle system is refreshing.
It's nice to play something that feels unique to the genre.

I have only played for maybe 1/2 an hour, but this is very good so far. I really hope the F2P monetization doesn't run me off, and it doesn't use too much data during gameplay, because I can easily see myself making this my new addiction.

 

I have 6 bolts to begin with.
Should I use the Pact of Truth to recruit a rare character?

 

I'm too impatient to wait for a reply and good advice from people who are experienced with the game, so I went ahead and spent 5 bolts on a rare recruit.

I don't have any idea if my recruit was good.
Here's what my impatience landed me:

 

I say whenever you have enough energy to recruit do it.


I'd say Manmer is an OK guy. Does some damage. His 2nd job has demoralization cures so he'll be useful when fighting monsters that demoralize your guys.

Yeah there's really no point to saving them. It doesn't help you in any way and if you get something good, you'd rather have it earlier than later. I hope you enjoy the game!

 

Thank you. I drew Manmer. I'm not sure how he compares to others.

 

He sucks so bad

edit: He has a total of 1 attack skill. And the rest are status, and he is so squishy that outflank is useless on him. I had to kick him out of my party at level 46 because my sword user out damages him and I have 4 sword users in my party and no bows =/.

 

Every Characters are good, i'm talking about those in the pact of truth. About the monsters, some of are really useful (boss mainly)

So yeah nice shot, Manmer is good. If you want more luck, and if waiting don't bother you. Try to have 10 energy, then spend them. You'll have 2 characters at the same time, but you'll have more luck to drop an S or an SS rank (hint, when you have an S/SS rank, the paper of the pact is shiny !)

^ where did you hear that having more energy gives you better odds? I haven't heard that one before.

 

It doesnt matter how much energy i did that and only got a A and B char which one of them i already have, chances dont increase because u have alot of energy if u have two coins and u flip them on both coins the chances are 50/50 for heads or tails or a better example drawing a card from a pack from an amount of cards that doesnt decrease since u can draw the same char the chances wont increase if u pulled two or ten cuz u only draw one by one and u put that card u draw back in the whole pot i hope im kind of making sense here
