Lol or maybe I have super powers now. Though seeing how common 6/66 would be, probably a quarter million or so people are evil haha
This is a more stylish, more interesting, more modern, and less coercive f2p in the vein of P&D. Typically I can't stand f2p, but so far this one is a pleasant surprise.
So I just got done doing my first attempt at Neo Bahamut with all of my chars around lvl 30. Everyone dies on the 9th round, so I use 1 Energy. I beat the boss in the final round, and... no Caladbolg. Woohoo! I wasted 1 Energy for no reason! Oh well, at least I got 51 Energy left.
51 energy left?? Wtf Man I swear this game is a constant bombardment of having to get job items and training new units...Like I just got macuri and im not sure whether he is worth training since I have so many damn units now many of which are high rank...95% of this game is grinding and 5% is story, I swear. Pudding time and metal zones will be the end of me.
Yea, I'm saving up Energy so when the game gets new chars I like, I'll roll. I'm fine with my current squad anyways. I've only replaced 2 chars ever since I started (Bag o' Fart and some C Rank Knight). I regret not rolling when Sheena was still new though.
Intrinsically imbalanced PvP is standard for these games and should be expected. If you have better cards, all other factors being equal, you *should* dominate, that is the nature of the competition in the genre. Now, they can still make things more competitive with true ELO type match ups, etc. so that you mostly face other players with similar skill and/or teams, but there is no way this is going to be a game where someone who hasn't supported the developers should be able to beat an equally skilled player who paid for an extra 200 pulls. Hopefully it won't be outright pay to win, (c.f. in many of these games the "tournaments" get decided by total points, trophies, etc. and a player can, in theory, buy their way into any prize tier they want within reason by purchasing energy), but if you can't gain a true advantage by having a better team, whether you played longer, paid more, or just have killer luck, that would be a poor choice considering the genre and monetization model.
The grinding gives the game much replay value Does any one ever turn the theme music off in the settings just to give the feeling that something is different?!! I haven't yet. Maybe I should
Why are you guys ignoring the fact that the first turn advantage granted in this vs mode will be incredibly broken and there really is no way to balance it without drastic change to the gameplay. Vs mode wont be what you think it is.
It will be terrible either way lol. F2P collectable games (non card games, but even those can be imbalanced by a paying player) always have terrible multiplayer. The nature of the model and in this game especially there is no way to make a good one. Co-op is tricky but actually semifeasible in a fun way
got it in 7th try !!!! last time Bahamut event took me 30 tries new weapon next event - the Caladcholg
at first that was a hard for me but i didn't realize that he always do a cross attack so if he is the center of the screen move all your unit to one of the corners and you wont get hit if he move to either left or right of the screen place all your unit in the opposite corners and rinse and repeat Hi always is going to hit any units that are either up, down and each sides and after that attack he always does the Dimensional Shift so once he does it just move all your units to any of the corners and then attack and manage to beat him like that with 3 units Of course try to clear all of his companions fast, but still even with two units you should be able to beat him fairly easy it just takes more time
Lol, it wasn't even related to your post or I would've quoted you... I was just reminding people if they didn't know already.
Over trying for bahamut. I don't know how you guys had the discipline to go at it for 30 tries! Seen some on here taking that long.
I just realized for the first playthough, you'd better use A,B characters, since they level up much quickly, and after that you can just easily level up SS chars from high level metal zones.
