So I got this lizardfolk with a big mouth as my 5 energy pick. Class A swordsman with a 10% attack boost as the first ability. It's taking forever to level though. I also have a weird bug where I have a lizardman healer (got as a drop) but he resets to level 1 everytime I exit the game. Very annoying. I had already messaged support about it. Hopefully that can be resolved. I also got kinda stuck on the Act 3 boss. The cat thing. Its doing ridiculous amounts of damage to me. On another note I also havent found any upgrade materials to upgrade Grace to her new job. I assume upgrading jobs is like Evo in PAD and other similar games. Overall still a fun game though. I may throw some money at it if they can fix the bugs and such.
It's a soft launch but according to their Facebook page, they're treating this like a beta. Once the game launches officially they'll add more features. I agree it's a fun game and they may get a few dollars from me too. Hironobu Sakaguchi and Mistwalker may have a good thing going here.
I have just completed ch4 and unlocked bahl second job and got a new recruit Chen93 that samething is happening to me with the lizarfolk hero i level him up to level 3-4 last night and he dropped to 1 when you quit the game, i also send a message as well so hopefully they could fix it soon having a class B useless doesn't look good but still no luck finding a warrior my party is mosly full of lancers Edit: Bahl Second Job pic http://i.imgur.com/nLa9Y8T.png
Maybe we should put the main hero level ups hidden or in spoilers. If they're strictly in the story mode then I think it'd be a spoiler. I hadn't gotten there yet so I was hoping for a surprise But it's okay.
No worries. Btw After 2 days of grinding, got 8k! And then spent it just now for a.... D class wyvern.... :l Game is not throwing me a bone at all. Not even a C class.. I think generally creatures are the worst. I can't believe I spent 8k for something that would easily drop in the wild. fml.
actually i'm in the same as you are with the 8k recruit the two i purchase D class one healer the magma mumy and now a arachnobot the only good thing is that both are lvl 10 Imo i think is just better to save the daily energy reward to get a good character every 5 days
Got a Devil Bat C character for my 8K recruit purchase I think that 8k is better spent on additional jobs since each job change (from what I've seen so far) costs 8k on top of the required item drops. My Beastfolk Mage also resets to level 1 after exiting the game. So frustrating...
Finished Chapter 4 and got 12 characters so far. I think I will refrain from adding the Beastfolk characters to my squad until they fix the level 1 reset bug. @ausar, I got the archer girl as my 1st character. The warrior I got from the free recruit the game provides at Chapter 1 I think. @vovin, the game relies on game server time so the device move time forward trick doesn't work.(just tested it last night)
Thanks for testing for us. I'll just toss them a little money when it comes to the US. No Canadian credit card here. Though I won't give them too much since it seems like I'm pretty unlucky with the random draws. Btw, I'm enjoying chatting about this game because ultimately, it doesn't feel like a competition. It feels more like a solo RPG that you can do some stuff with friends (when they open later). I'll probably focus more on ally raids when they open and maybe never fight a human player. With those other games I swear once you're behind, it's over and everyone else is going to destroy you until you get lucky. The people with the best items will just keep winning over and over in PvP. The same here will happen in PvP but I definitely think that's 2nd to the story mode. In this type of game I'd rather play an AI and plan out my moves.

I got a freakin archer that has stats near identical to the Knight but just doesn't look as cool. He already left my main party. Grace must have better skills than Bahl since you got to 1.0%. Mine never triggered because she needs to be in a pincer to even have a chance at using the special. At the rate they trigger bonuses, I'm surprised you hit 5%+ on a lot of characters when they go up by .1 every time.
Oh wow you must have gotten a lot! I just got the new class for Bahl and the new chapter 4 character. This is difficult. The game is just like an RPG grind where you get a new unit at lvl 1 and you're not sure if you should spend the extra hours to level them up. Bahl was my strongest unit and now she's my 2nd weakest :\ I'd have to grind lower levels a lot and even then, I noticed the low levels still level slowly even on higher chapters.
I'm not sure what exactly I did to get multiple monster drops but I think it helps when you max out your combos and kill multiple monsters in a single turn. I mostly farm the 3rd battle in Chapter 3 to level up quickly and get skill boosts. There's a sequence there where you have 4 to 5 monsters arranged vertically that you can kill easily in 1-2 turns, and get massive exp bonus.
Been playing for the past week and absolutely loving the game. You get a bunch more energy with each consecutive days (I get 5 per day now). Currently at Chapter 11. For those wondering, you get a B class swordsman after Ch4, and a S class healer after Ch10. If there are more incoming story heroes, I might wait before grinding other classes. My one simple noob tip is to grind the Metal Zone 1 early on (opens after Ch2) to the max level 20 with your 6 starter guys. You'll prob need to grind gold during the weekend coin events to pay the entry fees. With your now level 20 guys, you can now run more story Chapters until Metal Zone 2 (which rewards exp up to lvl 30). Game gets challenging fast now. It wouldn't surprise me if I needed a full roster of A an S class heroes to survive the latter parts of the game.
You actually dont have to use her new job right away at least i'm still using her old job until a get some new skills and since you can combine skills from her differents jobs that should make easier to level her new job, also with her new job you get the defend skill with that now you have more chance to level up her boost skill since that shows up more often that the counter I haven't try this but if you want to level up some character quickly in think if you dont have a party full is going to be faster since the total exp you get wouldn't be divided among the whole party
Super excited about the new character I recruited with my 5 energy. An SS class healer named Aminari the Nurse To give an idea on that how the costs scale at a high rarity character: To give her a second job would cost 10k gold, 20x Claw of Fate, 15x Terra Swordsteel, and 3x Animaton
Started playing this game a while ago. I had pretty bad B class healer for my first 5 energy gacha. I'm currently at chapter 7. I'm just wondering though, anyone know of any good "boss" characters to farm for as of yet?
