Terra Battle (by Mistwalker Corporation) This game will hit 1 million before the new year trust me. Maybe we'll have Terra Battle on console in 2016.
2 questions for those who've been playing a while. 1) when you attack with a physical weapon character (spear, sword, bow) that has an elemental attribute, do they use attack or magic attack to determine their damage? Or is it that their pincer will use attack and their elemental skill will use their magic attack? I suppose a follow up is whether the mage uses atk or m.atk for pincer attacks. 2) is their any system behind the way multiple attacks resolve? What determines whether one pincer attack will take place before another?
1. Elemental attacks are based on the M-Att, they come second after the normal physical attack and are proc based. For example, consider an archer like Gigojago that is an "Ice" type, his first attack will be a normal bow attack using his Att followed by proc roll for one of his elemental skills that will use his M-Att (much higher than his physical attack). Or consider Daiana, who starts as a fire battle mage but has an archer job as her second role. Although you can use her fire pincer on the archer, it's much weaker since the archer job's M-Att is much lower than with her mage job. Mages have a normal physical staff att using their (usually) weaker Att stat followed by a proc chance for one or more of their skills using their M-Att. 2. The first attack is always based on who you moved and, as best I can tell, goes according to distance after that (next closest, then next closest, and so on).
I got really lucky and got 3 different SS characters in 5 tries. I took the Mage one and the rest anyone can take them if they want it. ^ That's kind of you. Hopefully someone will mention if they've used it. I think the mages are a good choice as I believe they're the most powerful units in the game. However they can't take too much damage so make sure to keep him in the back. There are some other SS fighters that are almost as powerful as mages but they can take a beating since they actually have more Armor and HP.
I gotta say, having a Mage makes a huge difference than having none at all, especially if they have a skill that has "pincer, area" in its name. If one of the Mage's skills that has "pincer, area" in its name deals dmg, the dmg area is a freaking 3x3 square, meaning 9 squares of enemies will be hit (if they're in the square, that is)! Oh, Puprope, you.
My first draw was a D class spider! I thought it was normal till I heard players always got B or above B class in their first draw. Anyone knows why did that happen to me
Did you do the recruiting with gold? That only gives you monsters. The really good guys are recruited using energy.
Sikuzo, how do you add/transfer units? I've searched the whole game. The 'friend' area says 'coming soon.' Maybe not available in US yet?
You can't. The friend area is probably for co-op and vs battles. Those he listed is just for those who want to have an SS account (Meaning start over from the very beginning).
Sorry, I just read this just now. Well I was level 30 when i got wiped the first time (Metal Zone 2's limit is up to 30), and I did not have any new jobs aside from Grace because it is tough to find the third item. Anyway, I managed to beat ch12 and opened Metal Zone 3
One of the things about this game is that once you pass midpoint, you won't even get that much experience from battles. It's a bit weird but basically when you have spare stamina and see a metal zone open (that's correct for your level), you should do that. The job leveling items are tough but not impossible. They give you headaches for the SS characters but for anyone below that it's considerably easier to get their items. If you get time for those, look up a guide for items online and grind for them!
Yup, I've blown 100 energy for Pudding Time 2 and I've only got one Dark Matter. Chapter 12+ is when everything gets tougher and there is little room for errors or enemies can kill your char in one turn =/. (They start doing like 3-4 attacks on one character in one turn).
Aaaaaaaaaargh!!!! So sick and tired of playing the tutorial!! I really want to get one of these SS mage characters. I managed to get Samatha but i rerolled...
