Hmm... I got Puprope (WHAT KIND OF NAME IS PUPROPE?!), but she's only an S Rank Mage Class char. Should I keep her, or still try to reroll for an SS Rank char? And btw, I don't want an SS rank char just to make the game easier. Like I said before, I had no problems the first time I played through the game. Anyways, I'll quit rerolling for now.
Re-rolling isn't necessary but if you don't mind going into it knowing it may take a VERY long time to get that prized SS, go ahead. The Terra Battle Forum (unofficial?) is full of people re-rolling and trading "starter" accounts with SS characters. It's pretty wild to see this going on. I'll confess I did re-roll a bunch of times. But I was truly going to give up when I ended up with an SS healer. In hindsight, before I started re-rolling I had an S spearman, S swordsman, and a really good AOE A rank fire mage. That team would have been more versatile. Oh well. Edit: Oops. I don't regret it too much anymore, just pulled an SS ice mage with the 5 energy I saved up from daily logins.
So you're saying Puprope will be useful, skillwise? And it's not the Healer class I'm worried about; I did just fine with that fat pot-bellied old fart the first time I played, the one everyone gets in the beginning from the current event that's going on (who's REALLY useful).
Actually, I'm pretty sure they are referring to L. Lawliet, who said: The game keeps layering on more and more mechanics. The sleep gas guys in chapter 6 are a pain, LOL. My group is still a bit weak offensively, so some of these fights take longer than they should, giving the baddies more chances to use their dirty tricks. Just got Peter Dinklage (aka Ellvern) to 15, though, so will see how much his area poison attack helps.
Ok, I made up my mind. I'm sticking with Puprope. She has a good P-Def for a Mage, and I think her skills will be useful later in the game. No more rerolls for me! And if anyone's curious, my other roll was a B Rank Spear User that has a skill that deals 1k dmg. Could be useful, idk.

You are welcome here is another one USER ID: 101297376 Transfer ID: jVEWhvUt4rqR password: giveaway123 Grace, Amimari(Healer SS), Kem (Spear A)
How do we use that code? Also the metal zone appears randomly during the day right? Wow. It gives amazing exp. but only up to 20. My guys are around 15. Just got a S rank
It does matter... maybe not so much in the earlier chapters—a good roll there is certainly going to help someone speed along, but they can clear the earlier chapters just fine with any starter—but it will matter. A powerful healer gives you a great headstart in some of the more challenging stages, especially when you take into account some of the far more powerful recovery abilities they unlock in other jobs, or other talents such as one character which also gains good offensive skills. The SS mages are crazy powerful. A character who unlocks sword, spear, and bow becomes very versatile. Skills like levitate save a lot of headaches on some of the nasty hazard stages. They seemed pretty manageable up until magma where it begins to become dangerous. Skills for getting more drops of characters, greater move time, even those things can have a great long-term impact on the game. You definitely can enjoy this game with any starter, but to suggest that your starting roll has no meaningful impact on the game simply discounts that there are considerable differences between characters and some are clearly much more valuable. And some players are going to have excellent luck recruiting new characters and on the flip-side some poor bloke is going to roll three Baal and a hoard of C, B, and an A over time.
Humans are a weird lot Funny how the rejected results of one person's OCD-like behavior is treasure to another. Although this serves as a good example why online only is a real requirement for games where there is any sort of freemium monetization and/or (eventually) multiplayer: whatever can be bypassed and/or exploited by people can and will be. At least this only affects the two starter rolls, imagine if all rolls could be save-scummed with their transfer data method They took the unusual step of making the online saving device, platform, and even account agnostic and incurred unintended consequences, and people wonder why so many games require Facebook to save
So, the hunting zone will just be closed on Mondays? I just opened up hunting zone 2, and I can smell some job changes.
Yup, the reasons why you'll be needing an online connection to play this game are the Co-Op and PvP modes in the future. Puprope, btw. IS GREAT NAME OK. IS FUNNY! YAY!
Hmmm... if you look at all of the people on Facebook and Twitter demanding this be released in their home territories and they are already at nearly 400k downloads... maybe they are building hype?
It sure as hell is working and i really cant blame them i havent been hooked on a game in a while I hope it comes out in more countries so everyone can enjoy and and we also get more content for it
1 million downloads will have "Battle Illustrations" (as well as Battle Mode and a concert). Anyone figured out what that means?
