Anybody got tips for getting started? I've beaten chapter 3. Got the beast folk hero as a drop, but I gather there are others you can get there. Is it worth trying to get the others? At what point should you think about the hunting zones? Do they also cost money (I know the metal one does based by earlier in the thread)? Should we do 3k pulls early to see what we get or save our money?
Wow! Thanks for the info bud. At what point can I setup an account / Id / password? Is it in settings? This game is GODLY!
I restarted 3 times and got the same characters everytime lol. I don't think you can get SS's by restarting. Can ya?
As far as I know, the only slot you can get S/SS for is with the pull the tutorial has you do at the end. The rest is largely fixed. You get Dahl or Grace as your "main", a C class archer, a C class knight, and a healer - currently for new joins it's the Kuscah one, but normally a C class one. Like I posted earlier, it makes no sense to me. Pretty sure you can play the game with just C & D class commons, and they've been giving enough bolts for one pull every week. It's too much effort to get *one* better than luck card.
Yeah your right! I just got an A class using my daily login 5 energy. I'm totally enjoying this, the strategy is deep. How's the content amount? Is there pvp / events or just single player chapters?
Some things to consider: - 2nd and 3rd jobs are really expensive, so eventually you'll want to save for that. - Getting a few pacts will help your team be more flexible. - Some monsters and characters drop when you defeat them in game, plus there are a few places where you'll be rewarded with a character.
Thanks. How bad are the chances of getting a b class or higher? I doubt a c class would find its way onto any of my formations.
Kind of thinking of restarting. 3 of my 4 named guys are bow users, so not much diversity. Maybe I should finish ch4 and see what I get with my 5 energy. If you restart, do you have to delete the app?
When you upgrade your character to 2nd and 3rd job, your class can change pretty drastically. For example I had a poison-magic user that changed into a spear wielder on his second job. These changes add great flexibility, because you can "equip" skills from their other jobs. Like in the example above, my spear wielder also casts an poison skill.
Ok, interesting. So, I have Pahrl, S'Naip, and Grace. My only other named is Kuscah, which apparently everyone gets during the launch. Thoughts? I like it so far, but feel pretty lost as to what I should do. I did one metal round because the king was there and managed to take him out. My best guys are level 12-13.
They have different multiplayer modes planned as part of their "download starter" gimmick. At 700K downloads they'll start implementing co-op battle mode, at 1Mil downloads they start implementing VS. Mode. How much of this is pre-done and how much we will have to wait on I don't know, but there's a bunch of stuff planned including new chapters. Right now it's just the single player stuff, but I've been playing daily since the soft launch started a month ago and haven't hit any end. I'm on chapter 16 and there's currently 29 chapters and an epilogue chapter. It's a pretty insane amount of content with them gradually introducing new enemy powers as you advance.
Yes, he's the second character you get at the very start. I decided to start up on a different device to see what happened. So with my 10 energy from day one and the code, I got Pahrl again and an S class lizardfolk named Sha'plar the Witch. Pahrl actually has better health and attack, but I am guessing from the name that the witch becomes more Mage-like later on. I also noticed right away (since both are level 10) that the S class take considerably more xp (6500 vs 3747) to level up. Given that, I'm not at all certain having a bunch of S and SS class is necessarily a good thing (but maybe the metal guys can help you level them fast and overcome that).
