Login bonus days end at 10.

The consecutive login bonus days (which resets every 8 days) only gives enough bolts for one gatcha pull per week.

    Doesn't feel enough IMO.
Should be 2 pulls per week, since you usually get redundant Bs and As.

Cool, thanks for clarifying that. 2 pulls per week would be nice but I can see why they would be a bit stingier with the free bolts.

Most likely they'll have events for bolt giveaways/bosses or special battle awards and the like.

  3. I think this game is one of the best RPG on ios. It's thinking for iOS players and ios plateform. Still this cons about the fact that the game is freemium. But i understand why. They want to touch a larger audience.

Definitely. Premium just does not make enough money. I think it only works for ported games and maybe sequels. Look at any top 10 list and the majority, if not all, of the highest grossing games are freemium.

Back to the game - it's been awesome. It still manages to surprise me and I'm on chapter 11. I fought a boss a few days ago and was able to avoid his special attack because my characters were levitating. Yesterday I fought an insect boss and discovered that by using fire attacks, it will cower in fear each turn. The battle was a cake walk from there :).

I do suggest you guys save your coins for metal zones. I've only seen D and C drops from coins, which feels like a total waste the farther you're into the game. Also, try to unlock the 2nd special zone ASAP. I don't remember if it's after chapter 9 or 10. For 15 stamina, you get way more items drops for jobs (20+ total).

And that is chump change. After a full year of playing Battle Camp (my personal king of the fuse/collect & fight games, although Terra Battle is the first real contender for that title I've seen), my household is in for just under $400 (about $100/person) for a "free" game where we are regarded as non-spenders because all that spending has been almost exclusively for inventory expansion over time. Of course, we don't view it like that, we view it as periodically paying for all the entertainment we get from the game.

Sure, if you think of it as paying $15 for 10 inventory spots every 4-6 weeks, it seems nuts, but if you consider that a family of 4 has been playing the same game daily for a full year with 20+ other people from around the world, getting to know people we never would have met otherwise, it's incredibly inexpensive entertainment.

Games like this are designed about keeping people invested in and working toward some nebulous end goal indefinitely, so a pay once model is a very poor fit for that sort of game. There is a continuum of what people will pay for sustained entertainment, and that is precisely what these sort of pay models capture. They lose the few die hards that wouldn't have paid that much anyhow, but they capture everyone else, from the people who continually spend $100+ every month to normal people who toss them $5-$10 every couple of months to people who never pay anything.

Given how much I have enjoyed this pre-release, if Terra Battle continues to develop at this caliber, I will outspend your hypothetical $15 with conditions in the first 3 months it's on the U.S. store as is. Timers don't bother me, energy systems don't bother me, always online doesn't bother me, and spending $10 here and $20 there doesn't bother me. Which of the two of us do you think developers should cater to more LOL? :D

Hey, all! Been lurking on this thread for a couple of days and finally made an account to say hi. This game is tons of fun. :)

I think tapping the (?) will tell you the level requirement, as well as what the skill does. I'd love to know what Sisters in Arms does as well! Maybe it's a boost in damage for girl cards. :p

Yeah I think I'm just not the target audience for FTP games.

But for a freemium albeit quality game like Terra Battle, I guess I will shell out a few bucks their way to show my support and appreciation.

It just makes me long for the old days when you can purchase a game and play it as long as you like.

That screenshot is not from me. I am still in the lvl 20+ at chapter 9. Looks something like this:

However I found out from another player about Sisters In Arm skill description:

Yukken's third job skill reads "when Yukken and Rikken are together, monsters that join you are guaranteed to drop items."
It can be interpreted as "if the sisters are attacking/chained/partied together, monsters that are already captured will definitely drop items"

Excited and can't wait to test the twins out but need to wait lvl 65 lol

On another note, here's my 3rd wave of summons. Worst luck yet :( I still lack a good healer.

How do you defeat chapter 16 boss? It can instantly drop your whole team to 1 HP to regain its HP back.

Make sure to kill everything in the room first.

Then all you gotta do is learn the pattern of his attacks (something like lateral > cross > absorb) then dodge dodge dodge.
He can't absorb more HP when you're at 1 HP.

I beat it with only 2 guys left, just running around dodging and slowly hitting it. Hardest part is killing the adds.

Thanks for the tip, I beat him on my 2nd try. He does damage to himself when doing the cross attack. So I was just dodging everything until he was weaken, then went all out to finish him.

Any suggestions on how to defeat chapter 5 level 10 boss battle. It seems all the foes require far too many strikes to weaken them

Can't recall that boss, but if you grind Metal Zone 1 to get your heroes to level 20, those early chapters should be easymode.

I forget.. Is it possible to get as close as you can to lvl 20, like lvl 19.5, then use the metal zone to level as much past lvl 20 as possible (since you can only get exp if you're under level 20 in area 1).

Yeah, pretty cool to get from 19 to 23 if you go in with less people.

^ Nice! I saw that art earlier and I love it. I'd take that Character. First skill is pretty useful.

Wow my 1st recruit (minus the one I got at the start - which I kept resetting for) is an SS! I think I've used up all my luck on this game. I think I'll probably get bad draws from now on :p
