I've been pretty solid with draws, no SS ranks but I'm not restarting at this point. I ended up drawing another one of the "starter" characters, Grace (bow) and was able to upgrade her to her second job right away as I had the items for it already. Got an S rank Stonefolk Spearman, and an A rank Stonefolk Swordsman (the guy who looks kind of like Sephiroth) No pics, unfortunately as I'm having problems posting pics from my phone. Come on, global launch! I'm ready for everyone to start downloading this so they can add some features (battle animations please)!
I did a restart and I got a S class Pupropu the Hope, Stonefolk. A little angel girl holding a Blue balloon unicorn.....now what?
Why do you guys want battle animations ? It wouldn't work well with the awesome painted portraits, and would detract too much from the core puzzle aspect.
I have faith that Mistwalker can pull it off. This wasn't just wishful thinking, they have this already lined up as an upcoming feature. I believe they add more battle animations at the 1 million download milestone. Edit: Oops, GreedPhantom already beat me to the response.
Battle animations aren't what you think. From what they previewed it's just the same portrait except doing a battle pose.
Seems some people have already spent over 100$ for bolts, and it's not even launched yet. Seen someone with a team of 5 SS.
Well i started again as well since i wasn't that far this time i got grace instead of bahl and my first recluit is again a lizarfolk B class but this one looks so much better
You can still restart again if you want. I got an A - Eileen that's really really good but I wonder if I should keep trying.
nah for me this is now the one i'm going to play, do the tutorial again and all that is a bother and is going to make me sick of the game instead Specially since my last save was mostly B units with a few A supports and until chapter since i wasn't having any problem so SS classes are not that necessary for the moment
Just unlocked the 2nd job for my SS bow. The last 2 skills seem powerful. I only need a Mealstrom Bow which I assume is similar to the Gaea sword you can get from story to unlock her final job. Anyone has any idea where I can get that bow?
^ Wow that's pretty crazy because I've never found the super rare items needed for the new job. Item grinding is pretty crazy in this game I noticed. Btw guys I'm so happy! After resetting (I'm giving up my 8 hours of game time and all my rare items) probably a dozen times I've finally got a great character. The first SS character I've gotten on the reset is one of the art they've shown off on their FB page. Probably the best character design I've seen so far. Definitely keeping her. Her skill set right now I'd give her 8 out of 10 for usability but that's still pretty darn good. Time to grind all over again

I can see people doing cosplay of her if the game gets big. Interesting they named her Samatha and not Samantha. I don't think it's a typo either.
I'm liking the art. I need something else rather than bows lol. Either that or need to change job asap.
Your SS bow girl has powerful skills though! I was surprised about this girl being a spear user. Not too many melee girl units. Most of them I've seen are mages of some sort. What's weird about Samatha is that her first skill is magic attack boost yet her magic attack is unlocked at lvl 15... -_- whose idea was that? Btw I just used my first 8K in order to fill up my party and got a D class ugly ostrich thing. Basically the ugliest monster in the game. Awesome. For 8k. That's 8 metal zone battles.

Whoa dude.. don't spend all your money. Game is great but not sure if it's worth the $100-200 you're shelling out. And your drops aren't that bad. SS makes sense in a way because it's supposed to be the rarest. And at least it wasn't zero SS. You have a lot of S now. Pretty good army. And Yukken is adorable! I want that character And now you have a set. Btw, can you post the profile photos of the sisters? And Alika? I'm collecting the good art sets for myself
