^ I'm not sure which is right.. I'm guessing you don't get the bolts back? I guess that's one thing that wasn't checked closely enough. It's possible your save state returns but your bolts / currency are sync'd to their servers meaning your bolts will always be reduced.
Maybe ill try another experiment- do the tutorial and get the 5 bolts, then backup before recruiting!
I just got my 1st duplicate 5 energy bolt character recruit, and as expected it just added a 5% skill boost to the existing one.
Weird how you both got duplicates. With how many characters there are that seems really unlikely. I hope this bolt stuff isn't rigged. It's making me not want to use my bolts. Womble if you can experiment again, that'd be great. Sorry to make you do everything! It would be really helpful if we knew if bolts are tied to the save game or to the account. My basic idea from the start was the keep retrying with your bolts to get a character then restore if you want a character you got earlier back. It also appears that consecutive day bonuses only go up to 8. Weird number. I'd think 7 days or 10 days are common. I was hoping it would go to 10.
forgot to put the character i got yesterday is another support unit so far is almost useless And for today i also got a duplicate character Ba'gunar to be exact (sucks so bad) Oh well at least i will be able to level up now my lizarfolk hero now
Locomotion 100%? That sounds really cool. Do all your characters run over people? Hmmm... seems like our luck hasn't been good so far. Ughhh Ba'gunar. He's still in my party and Mr. Fatso. I can't wait to remove them. I only got 1 good draw out of 4 attempts. Pretty sucky.
sounds cool but the effect doesn't get even close to that, it just remove paralysis on the whole party, maybe later could be usefull and clarity remove confusion but i have another one with that already
I feel you man. My "good" character has "disarm bomb" as his first skill which I have no use for atm and I bet there will just be one - two areas of bombs and that's it. Waste of a skill slot.

Yeah I think they miswrote that post. Even on FB they confirmed the transfer. Their latest post on Twitter says: "Quick but crucial update, the data will maintain AND you can transfer after launch. More details coming soon." Facebook: "*Soft Launch Data Transfer Update* If you are currently playing the Canadian soft launch, you will be able to carry the game data over into the full launch. You will also be able to transfer game data between regions. Please stay tuned for a detailed guide closer to the full launch." So no worries. I'm more concerned about bolts :s lol
I just got a Flamedrake Spear drop from one the boss encounters and this made me wonder if we can equip weapons in the future?
If that skill disarms those bomb trails that follows monster, then you'll praise that hero at chapter 17. If it's for those single bomb attacks, I haven't really been bothered by those. Those "egg" machines with bombs behind them at Chapter 17 are hella dangerous.
It's possible that's an item used to combine a character who wields that item? Like a character specific item. I doubt they'd change up the formula. Btw I think a lot of people don't know but a lot of feature ARE NOT coming at launch including PvP. This is a "downloadstarter" where more downloads means they will add more things inside. It's clever but that also means there probably won't be too much change from what you're playing now. PvP needs to hit a download amount to be created. I'm personally hoping for battle animations (that'd make the game look really pretty) however that's WAAAY down on the downloadstarter. That makes me feel a bit better. I'm actually around level 20ish and grinding chpt 3-4. I haven't gone further lol.
Oh what a deal.. they updated the prices on bolts! 5 bolts for 1 recruit or you can do it twice in a row for 10 bolts!!!!! wooooooo....... .......
Wow got a horrible B soldiers for 5 bolts. So irritated. I saved before so I was going to try the experiment. I didn't reinstall but I deleted the files, made sure the game reset, put the files back in. It gives me back my save but I got the horrible character back and lost the bolts still. So I'm guessing something in the save file is a link to their server. So you can't actually do anything at this point. Your LATEST state is always restored. It doesn't matter when you saved you save file. I'm guessing your documents folder has some kind of ID that tells their server who you are. So you can never go back unless you restart the entire game. Sad news especially for me that has gotten all terrible characters in bolts. Edit: Used my last set of bolts for another B... yay.... i'm hating this game.
Very weird. I got 1 S and 4 A with free bolts since start. I have a feeling one of the last patch may have lowered rate of rare stuff.
I haven't updated the game. Maybe I should but I feel like the update wouldn't change anything.. So basically the 10 bolts I used in the past half hour are useless. I got a B healer. I'll try using 2 healers in a party and see how that works but otherwise I'm starting to feel like giving up on the game. I really want to like it but it's not even giving me incentives. I save up those bolts for days and can't even get an A character is frustrating. And my entire party is pretty much all men now. Can't get a single female drop which is like the game slapping me in the face. I don't want to get rid of the Knight but have you guys dropped him already? I have 3 B's in storage but I don't like any of them.
