Universal Tennis Champs Returns (by Uprising Games)

I will say, out of all the training exercises. Serving is by far the most difficult, and frustrating. I'm up to level 5 or 6 on the rest, but cannot get past level 3 serve (the 5 in a row in 30 seconds).

 

I really hope this does well for the dev. It's an incredible achievement for a side project.

This and Crashlands have really made 2016 an iOS based gaming experience for me. They are tearing into the time I was recently spending on Fallout 4, X-Com 2 etc on Steam.

In my mind these humble but deep indie developed games are more compulsive than those triple AAA titles.

Edit : I know I'm comparing apples and oranges here but what I mean is that these have more compulsive and deep gameplay for me.

 

And you even have to see level 7 or 8!

 

Wow this is crazy. When I played nhl 94 on sega Genesis the same freaking thing happened with me. I still buy nhl games but never watch the sport because of this game. Your game has me looking through other tennis games and IVE never looked to get a tennis game.

Do you happen to have iap so I can support this game

 

Me and my friends played NHL 93 until the little player was burnt into our retina with his little stick flicking back and forth in a constant fight for the puck.

Ah the exuberant enthusiasm of youth!

Edit: luckily the effect dissipated after a prolonged bout within reality after our tele broke. I may have been living with this ghostly ice hockey overlay now if it wasn't for the unreliability of our barely post 80's hardware! (I'm from the UK and have absolutely no interest in ice hockey, tennis or sport in general.. but I'm playing this like my life depends on it!)

 

I left a nice 5 star review on the U.S. AppStore. It's #2. Same name your game has earned it. Honestly. I think you've under sold yourself. It's worth way more than a dollar my friend. I played for almost 2 hours today alone. I didn't even realize it. You know a game is great when you look up and it's almost been 2 hours.

Can someone bring back NHL '93 or '94 please!!! That game was so awesome! I totally agree with you about this game.

 

I don't believe so. I don't think it gets rid of ads, the need of coins for entering tournaments, or doubles your exp. Although I'm not 100% sure as I've only bought the VIP pckg. Seems like buying the super bundle will kind of ruin the experience as it will put your career character pretty far ahead. That's just me though.

 

This game is lit! I just downloaded it today after seeing the review and I'm so stuck on it. I'm absolutely terrible at the moment. Haven't won a single tournament but I'm still loving it!

 

Won my first match on the third try. If mfi controller support is not yet implemented I hope it is in the future. Will try my controller next time I get a chance. Fun game and I got the remove ads iap to support the Dev.

 

Anyone have any tips for the movement training? I cannot get past level 6.

Also +1 for the level 7 strokes training getting stuck. (iPhone 6 plus)

 

so what does the training actually do ???? does it add points to the player's ability ??

 

If you love classic tennis games (Super Tennis, Final Match Tennis, Top Rank Tennis, etc. etc.) this is a must have.
