I'm looking into what you describe.. The player in quick match should not exhibit any fatigue, and the "2.5 stars" on the stat screen, I've not yet ben able to reproduce. But just want to clarify one thing on the above. Originally, the player energy was purely related to matches played. A little while ago, I added a boost of energy if you play on consecutive days. I've now removed this again. The only way to regain energy in career is to rest a simulated career-week, or use energy-drinks.
Excellent. Being a Spurs fan I can only feel your pain as we usually fail to qualify for champions league and often get turned over in a final.
Elton, I see break points and break points won are still bugged in stats screen: sometimes I win a break point in tiebreak (it's not a mini break), sometimes stats show more break points won than total, game doesn't count break points that are match points, too. I don't want to be harsh, I really love TCR, but what's the point to leave them "broken"? Wouldn't be better remove them?
Sorry, that one just slipped down my list as there were other priorities and I forgot to look at it. Will add it to my todo list again so I don't forget to fix it for next update. New update is out by the way. Have gone back to the old font for the numbers on the ranking table, as well as the emergency fix for unused skill pts getting lost. And the game is also now in a front page feature in the UK Store called "Sports Games We Love", which is great to see!
Another possible UI bug: under player stats (both yours and opponent's) it lists FH then FH again before VO, SV, and MO. Should it be FH, BH, VO, etc...?
Hello and thanks for the great game! Like many, i can not wait for the patch which will introduce multiplayer. Any news about that patch?
The update is coming June 23rd, the Thursday before Wimbledon starts the following Monday. New features:- * Ladies roster, with full career slot. Ladies play will have a different feel and balance to it. * Online 2 Player via Gamecenter. Reduced options in this mode for non-VIP purchasers. TBA * Casual Controls Using swipes, and a "shift" button which changes the available shots for your swipes (shift button allows drop and lob shots) * Better career stats * More New sounds * Localised for French/Italian/German/Spanish
Getting close for the big update now I'll try and make a video tonight that shows the new alternate swipe based control scheme and 2 Player mode in action. More news later!
How in the halibut did I miss this game!? Holy darling, this is incredible. I burned through most of the day playing it. The controls are a little strange and are taking me a while to get used to, plus I still don't understand the different tennis move terminology and all that, but I'm learning on the fly and it's so darn fan-freaking-tastic.
Thanks for the positive feedback! Glad you're enjoying it, if you've got any questions about the tennis terminology there are pleny on here who can help if you post up a questions..
Well I understand the general terminology, it's more the fact that there are 6 moves. I feel like they are "counters" to the pitches your opponent makes and they are to be used in different situations for maximum effect. So for example - if your opponent is close to the net, you want to swipe the blue button up for a high lob at the back of the court. Having only just starting to master the red-button-down move (which is suuuuper useful now) I feel like I should use the others more. I've pretty much only been using the red button and got really good at aiming left and right.
Sounds like you're getting along fine One of the intentionally not called out aspects of the controls, is the effect of the timing of your hit (how far through the swing you are at impact, not the timing bar position) on the angle of your shot.. I'm not going to explain it here as I wanted people to discover the subtleties themselves, but just be aware that it makes a difference!
