Well I am sure I only lost 2 matches earlier in the season and none of them was a grand slam and I played all 1000pts tournaments and lots of 500s.
I have shortened a few of the matches in certain rounds and tournaments when using the default "short" option for Career match length. The Long option adds a few more multi-set matches. The code is definitely taking the best 17 (corrected to 18 in the update in with apple now) results. It does a sort on them, then counts the points. I'll have a look into it to see if there's anything else that could cause points to be missed.
Something went wrong... 1) My current ranking points are higher than my record points. 2) My career earnings are lower than supposedly true ones. 3) My annual earnings are too low (I won Qatar Open, Nz Open and Australian Champs).
Record pts only updates after each year, so it can be less than your current total. I'll look into the others. I think it might be due to the timing of reporting to gamecenter and when be previous weeks result drops out, but not sure. Let me look into that.
If I have to try something, feel free to ask me. I can re-start career, too, it's not a problem. I only have to unlock Roland Garros and Grand Slam achievements in GC (in game I unlocked them in the first year).
Thanks. I've checked and I can't see why the french champs gamecenter achievement isn't getting set. The tournament and achievement IDs all match up as they should. Very strange.
Last night I played (and I won) my second Paris Champs, but GameCenter achievement is still locked. I played it immediately after Australian Champs and now I see this: My career earnings are lower than before. My annual earnings are negative...
Well, not really, but until 22/3 I think it was correct (see picture). But I'm not 100% sure because my best ranking was in 18/3. I wasn't playing career so much, only daily challenge. I think I played only Qatar Open, Nz Open, Australian Champs and French Champs, but I don't remember when I played the first two. High ranking is right in GameCenter (18100) and other leaderboard, too. I see my current career earnings in game is my best annual earnings (14922951 like it appears in GC) + annual earnings (-519966), so 14922951-519966=14402985. Now i will try to win a tournament and let's see...
Ok, I won France Plate and now my earnings are these: 519966-289966 (or 14632985-14402985) = 230000 Is it right for winning France Plate? Prize is 260000. I resetted my career, though, and now, for a while, I will play only Grand Slam. So I'll be able to check my earnings accurately.
Hi, I haven't gone through all this thread but are there any instructions on Mfi controller use? Like when it says to slide your finger up when on the serve button, how do you do the equivalent action on the controller?
A = flat shot, power serve and standard volley X = top spin shot, kick serve and punch volley B = slice shot, slow serve and drop volley Y = lob shot and slow kick serve Y + down = drop shot Every button is ok for smash (it's a contextual shot).
Hey atchoo, Thanks for reporting the earnings issue.. It's grandslam wins that are the problem, big values causing an overflow when calculating the prize money. I've found and fixed now. Will be in the next update after the iCloud one that's already submitted. I'll probably add that and pro mode next, and hopefully French localisation ahead of the French Open. Now to find why that achievement isn't firing..
Yep, I won Australian Champs in my new career and... Great! Do you think this bug was there from the beginning?
Any help for Mac? I can win almost every time I serve, but I can't break him. Serve and volley is killing me. Slice just gives him more time to get there. Drop on the return isn't reliable enough. Any advice?
