My Review (4 Stars) by some random monster Ten Squared is a unique puzzle game that, despite its name and the numbers shown in the sceenshots, has nothing to do with mathematics. You can play this game even if you don't like maths. The goal of the game is to fill up a grid of squares by "travelling" around the grid - you start anywhere of your choice on the grid and then move to another spot, and another and another, until all the spots on the grid have been occupied. The puzzle lies with the movement restrictions - you can only move in a certain way, either the "bridge" way (three steps horizontally/vertically or two steps diagonally) or the "knight" way (L movement as with the knight chess piece) - you choose which game mode before you start a level. Sounds easy, but in reality, the game is very difficult. If you are a hardcore puzzle solver, you will definitely love this game. It will likely take you several hours and retries to solve each puzzle. I would recommend that the game be made more newbie-friendly. As mentioned, this is a very difficult game. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but many casual puzzle solvers are going to be frustrated. Surprisingly, the game starts at "level 5" (actually what the game means is "level with 5x5 grid") and that is already very difficult. There should be easier levels with smaller grids (4x5 is viable) or grids with preoccupied spots (so the puzzle is already partially solved). Having preoccupied spots would help not only with reducing the difficulty, but you would also be able to introduce countless puzzles that way. Perhaps if that is implemented, the game will become more appealing and deserving another star.
Ciao! 22 reviews from TAers, three more for the 2nd card! Thank you for your suggestion, I'll surely consider a way to make the puzzle more newbie-friendly! I think preoccupied spots could be a good solution! Michele

Hi, I submitted 1.1 version with a lot of new features and the 1.0.1 version disappeared... the problem is now solved and Ten Squared should be again available shortly.... by the way: 1.1 version will have: - OpenFeint integration - A great soundtrack (but you can always access your iPod library) - An easy mode, with partially compiled squares - Some new sound effects - A preference pane Michele
Thanks for that, will submit a revised review after trying out the easy mode But wait, although my review was 4 stars it still qualify for this contest right?
