    Hello all,

    Just posting an update. It is extremly likely that Animations will be added into the game by the end of may. Spells will have some effects and I will try to animate a few other things if possible. There will be other gameplay changes which I will mention here later on but the biggest ones are:

    Rush modes (Boss/rare critter)
    Changing agility - Currently protects you from purple attacks. After update will determine if templar attacks before or after monster. Purple attacks will be gone. Just red (physical) and be(magical) attacks will be in game.

    Hello everyone, just an update. Still working on the update. Real life job is getting in the way of my programming but this will change two or so weeks from now. I apologize for the long delay without news or updates, but I will continue to update/upgrade the game as discussed earlier. Just posting to let you know further updates will be pushed out soon, most notably animations and spell effects.

    Hello Everyone, status update.

    Hello Everyone,

    Just posting to let you all know I am still working on the next update. Animations and spell effects are already in place for the next update. They are not very complex but they do liven up the game a bit. Some other changes are going to be set in place:

    Battle Speed - Melee combat is no longer simultaneous. Agility will determine how strikes first in melee combat.(Next update)

    Death March Mode - For higher level player who want shorter games. Difficulty begins at level 1 and increases by 1 per step.(next Update)

    Rare/boss rush mode - Still figuring this one out.Maybe randomized, maybe preset order.(probably not next update).

    Quests - Preset adventures with preset items/monsters/encounters at certain difficulty levels. Kind of like challenges.

    Free add supported version. No timers, no store,same as paid version, play as much as you want, supported via ads.

    Choosing difficulty level, from 1- highest difficulty level achieved. This will allow people to grind on easier/shorter adventures.(probably next update).

    Hoping to get the update + free version out by december to celebrate the games 1 year anniversary.

    P.S. Thanks for supporting/ buying the game. A few copies are sold each month but that is rather surprising considering I am an unknown dev, the price is rather high(1.99), and the fact that there are so many great free games. Thanks for the positive feedback. Trying to work on the game to push out updates ASAP but there is only so much I can do in a day.

    Thanks for the feedback Repulsa. :D. Still have a few plans for the game, I wish I had more time to focus on the updates, but slow and steady might not win the race, but we do get to finish it at some point LOL. I am happy you are enjoying the game.

    Thanks, receiving this kind of feedback is a huge part of what keeps me working on the game. While still working on templar I am mulling over ideas for a second game. It will not come out till the end of next year maybe. I have learned a lot from this experience and hope my second game is not only funner, but also has higher quality and feels more complete upon launch. Again thanks for the support(both in buying the game and also posting feedback). Glad you are enjoying it.

    Once the free version comes out I think many people will be able to try the game out. The paid version and the free version will both be available, but since the free version will be add supported maybe a persistent online connection might be needed(still not sure as I know many peeps do not like this, but then again its completely free to play and the paid version will never need the connection). No type of store for either, or anything, no timers either. Straight up full game and ads and the alternative add free paid version.

    New update submitted to Apple - Free version about a month away

    Hello everyone,

    Its been a while since I have posted.Real life has been hectic, but still enjoying working on the game. I have finally submitted a rather interesting update to the app store. Patch notes are:

    -Animations added (combat, spells, heals, arrows,etc)

    - 2 new game modes and scoring + leaderboards for all 3 game modes(besides all the existing leaderboards)
    -Death March - Choose higher or lower difficulty and go as far as possible, no bosses, lose health with each step.
    -Survival mode - Difficulty ramps up quickly. For powerful players who want shorter games.

    - Enhanced level up tool tips. Know how strong you skills/spells grow with each point used to level up.

    - Balanced combat damage to be somewhat less spikey.

    - Changed all shrine(except chaos) sacrifices to hit points.

    -Leaving items behind no longer has a chance to trigger traps.

    - Monsters always identified. Items have become a little harder to identify.

    - Agility skill now determines who strikes first in combat.

    - Log now displays both Score and Distance at every step.

    - Numerous Bugs and Fixes.


    Also note the Paid version will drop down to 0.99 cents once the patch is out and a FREE ad supported version, with maybe a small store to donate/purchase small power upgrade will come out shortly after the patch. Also once the new version is out I will be sending out promo codes here on the TA forums, so I will keep you posted.

    The free version will have no timers, pay walls, no online only requirement. Hopefully people will download and enjoy either of these versions.

    P.S. the new game modes and scoring are quite fun for higher level players. My professional absolutely non biased playtesters(RL friends) have been playing both new modes more than the adventure mode, and animations have livened up gameplay quite a bit. I will keep you posted once the update is out.

    I am sure you will enjoy the new game modes and animations Repulsa. P.S. if you have friends who might enjoy this please let them know the free version is coming out shortly. :D

    I think the 1.99 stopped many many people from trying out the game, so I am happy to be pushing out the free version.

    This game is worth much more in my humble opinion. I don't understand why some people can complain about a two dollar price tag then turn around and throw hundreds at f2p garbage. I can totally understand your need for a free ad supported version and really appreciate you leaving the premium version as is for us premium only gamers :)

    I became a tablet gamer because I get great games for for under 10.00$ I used to spend 40.00 -60.00 $ a game and not play the any longer than these games. Everybody wants something for nothing.

    Thanks of the support Oldman23. You will definitely enjoy the update.

    Maybe is used incorrect words to express myself(english not native language). It is true, 1.99 is not too expensive, but it does serve as a barrier of entry that keeps people from playing my game. Being an unknown dev, I think feedback from the game and also getting people to play your game is just as important if not more than making money(my opinion and under my current circumstances). Being a lifelong gamer myself and playing the heck out of the games in the app store I can say there are so many great experiences with an entry fee of 0.00 (and of course the flip side as well, great premium games), however at this point in time, I would like to have more people playing the game so as to receive more player feedback. It has been pretty positive with the game as is and the update will only improve this. Again the premium version will always be available add/IAP free. The free version will have ads and maybe a small shop that will sell one or two items that will not impact gameplay or provide unique advantages, I want the leaderboard scoring to reflect skill not wallet size.

    I have a few other games I am slowly thinking up, and will start to develop soon. Thanks to all the feedback provided by the players, and everything I have learned I am sure the second game will benefit from the information obtained.

    Hello everyone,


    Latest Patch has just been approved by apple, working on finishing the free version. Price has been adjusted to 0.99.

    Please let me know what you think of the patch. Also will be handing out a few codes tomorrow. If you would like one please let me know.
