Feedback Thanks for the feedback. Will look at fixing the spelling mistakes. That old school RPG feel was what I was aiming for. Also making sessions somewhat short, so you can easily play a short game while waiting in line at the bank or something and level up you templar a few times. When you level at the start it helps to spread points out , but after a few crusades it helps to aim for milestones, like 50 heal skill for the extra heal spell, or 100 fire ball for an extra fireball. The good thing is no point is ever wasted. Each point contributes to the skill. It took play testers an between 25 and 35 or so crusades to down a boss, so you should be almost reaching the first one. If you have any gameplay questions please let me know.
That's exactly what I was doing last night with my point distribution. Getting the fireball and bow up to around 15-20 while leveling my sword up to 30, healing, dodge and shield are around 30 along with total health. I'll have to aim to get health and a few others up to 50 or so. The max distance for me so far has been 33, so I'm hoping to get even further than that later this evening.
Awsome. First boss is at distance 40. Good luck. Just in case the boss is also selected at random each crusade. There are 11 from pure magic, STR, Agi to hybrids, so Good luck.
Promo code Have one code for today, no one has asked for it. If you would like the code, please post here.
I just downed my first Elder One! It took me a couple of tries and leveling up a few things, but I did it. I ended up having barrier and shield going at the same time while throwing my saved fireballs then attacking with my sword. Now I have to get to a distance of 60 for the next one. Everything got harder, so it's back to grinding for a while. So far so good!
Templar promo code Hello, sending key via PM. Please post feedback, gameplay questions or issues here.
Templar Promo code. Hello everyone. Taking off for the weekend so if you PM me or post I will not be able to answer till Sunday. I am posting a promo code that can be used by the first person to claim it. If you do manage to claim it be nice and let everyone know it has been claimed if you can. here is the code: AYYE3P3FPHK6 Enjoy.
I've played the beta version. It is good. I think the best way this could go is to model itself like the game: Slayin. That's probably the best example of this genre.
Looks great! I've always been a fan of rpgs and this one looks good! I'd love to try it if there is a code left. I'll gladly leave comments/suggestions as I play.
Sent both woogoat and Hadin a code via PM. Please play the game and post feedback/questions here. So far everyones response has been rather positive so thanks for the feedback . At the moment I want to focus on iOS, but android/steam is not out of the picture, it is just not on top of the things to do list. I am a single person working on this project, and I do want to add a lot more content to the game. Maybe after 8-10 months worth of DLC(Free, no pay walls or IAP will ever be included in the game), I can port the game Which by then might be the final version to android. I have a few other game ideas I want to develop, but right know would like to focus on this game for a year or so if I sell enough copies.
Templar IC release in one week Hello everyone, just want to remind everyone who is interested that Templar Infinite Crusade comes out next Tuesday everywhere in the world. Currently only english is supported but do want to look at a few other languages. Would like to hear what the people who have received codes but have yet to comment think of the game, as any feedback s helpful. Still have a few codes if anyone else would like to play the game before release. Just post here.
Wow! I would of replied earlier but I was in "one more crusade" mode... So far I'm really enjoying it! Yes I die a lot but I get a bit farther each time. One thing I noticed though is once I beat the first Elder One I was getting one-shotted much more. Maybe it was just bad luck but I got way more monsters that slaughtered me even as the first monster in a crusade so effectively rendering that particular crusade useless. So it's taking longer to become stronger. I don't mind it but the sudden difficulty spike was surprising. Maybe a warning stating that the difficulty will increase as you beat Elder Ones so the people who want to get stronger first has the option of dying to it to keep current difficulty? Just a suggestion, I wouldn't change the difficulty though but I would of built up my character a little more if I had known. Otherwise I'm having a blast!
Templar infinite cusade Funny you should use the term "One more crusade.." heheh. Many playtesters(Internal) said that same thing. Seems the game can be somewhat addictive heheh. It is a good idea to mention that the difficulty will spike after each boss kill, however it is kind of pointless to grind in an "easy mode" and not kill the boss as after a boss kill the gold rewards for bonus distance, selling, and enemy kills are much much higher than in an easier level. This avoids a mindless easy grind which might be rather dull. Higher difficulty, but also proportionally higher rewards. I am glad you are having a blast. Please let me know if you have any further feedback, or questions. (Will see how I can inform the users on the difficulty increase after boss kill next patch. Thanks for the info)

Finally got to play the game and i have to say there are some really good concepts in the game. It's basically a roguelike, but without the exploration since each encounter is a random room one after the other. I really like roguelikes with a sense of exploration, so i know the game isnt for me, but i have to say i really enjoyed what i have played here as this game covered a lot of good details well.
Thanks for the feedback Thanks for the feed back. I knew from the start that taking out the exploration element might alienate some of the more traditional rogue like fans. I have personally played a lot of mobile and PC rogue likes(Cardinal quest 1,2, broken planet, shattered pixel dungeon, pixel dungeon,o hell the dungeon, dungeons of dreadmore, etc). While I love playing rogue likes on the PC, on mobile all the tapping from moving around I felt as the experience was too slow for a mobile game. I decided to make a non positional random encounter game(kind of like the Pathfinder Card game RPG), which does not have a position element, rather a distance element in order to reach the bosses. It great speeds up gameplay, and focuses on making quick decisions. I would like to delve more into the rogue like genre in the future, so might make a positional game, but I would like to to be very fast. Also have more DLC(free of charge) for this game that will add more elements. PVP, monster collection/leveling, town to upgrade, and more things. I love games that you can upgrade almost anything. You can see your time investment in he game as you play. P.S. to whoever is interested, game comes out on Tuesday. Again thanks for the feedback as every bit is appreciated.
