Is save game backup and syncing still incoming (even if in the glacial movement sense )? Having recently been iPad Pro-endowed, I'm actually holding off lumbering deeper into the ship bowels until I can pick up where I left off across both my devices. And this being one of my favourite iOS game, I'm awfully keen to lumber.
Yes, it is still coming -- but very much in the glacial movements sense. With such a small team, we're constantly managing shifting priorities, so it just takes time for this to move into position.

Do you guys use Unity for this game? If so, I found a drop in script that adds automatic iCloud synch for my games. Works beautifully and requires no real integration time.

This can be used to backup or transfer games! The post-launch support has been incredible, though I'm still really hoping they get cloud saves in. This game is really big and not having a way to back-up and share a save across devices is a bummer.
Yeah I loved it but now I can't play it anymore because there was no way to move my game to my new device.. sigh.
Why I was able to copy and paste the save files through iTunes. I think there's a post somewhere on the internet shows how to move between PCs and iOS devices.
That's impossible to do. 8.3 and higher you are not allowed to access app files unless they having folder sharing enabled which pretty much no game has.
I guess they must've added that feature in one of the updates. Pretty sure there's a save folder accessible through iTunes.
We have turned on the iTunes sharing permission for Templar Battleforce as of the last update, so this is now possible.
You can use the newly enabled iTunes file sharing permission to move games between devices quickly and easily using iTunes.
I definitely appreciate this but is there any plan for save transfers without it, like iCloud? It's definitely more convenient to just go between devices than to pair them with my PC just to transfer.
