Thanks Thank you very much. Lots of months of work on this ebook. Absolutely one of my favorite stories of all time as well. Take care
It is my favourite short story of any writer. My own heart beats faster and faster when I read the last couple of paragraphs. Short sentences. Tense action. Descent into madness. Fantastic! No other story has affected me so.
Absolutely I couldn't agree with you more. For anyone who hasn't read this story, the way it builds up is like riding a massive roller coaster. The Tell-Tale Heart is one of the reasons I became a writer
Me too, what do you write? I've tried my hand at horror, SF and fantasy. But I think SF is where I am most comfortable
I write cool stuff I write comic books, kid's books, all kinds of cool stuff. Been writing for over 25 years and it's fun but can be very difficult when the ol' writer's block shows up. Some of the books I've written or worked on are: Hamster Vice, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Ghostbusters, Transformers and other fun stuff. Stop by my site when you have some time. www.diehardstudio.com. Keep writing and keep reading, and best of luck to you Dwayne
Weird one, this. Visually looks pretty good but the voice acting is really bizarre... Why have two narrators reading for a single character - and even more confusing, rotating the voice used almost every other sentence? It also sounds at times as though the narrator(s) hadn't pre-read the script since the intonation and inflection seemed to be conflict with the content and intention of the script... Just my opinion. Not a bad app though - at least it dares to be different. Jamie
Thank you Hi Jamie, Thank you for your comments. I really appreciate it. Poe never clearly indicated the gender of the killer so in this version, both sides of his psyche are present. When I invited Janet to read the script, we decided our killer would literally be what he says he is to the reader, 'sane'. But in reality, his is quite insane, so we went with both. lol. Many Poe theorist think the killer might have been a woman or even the old man's own son. On the introduction page of the book, we mention that we recorded it to sound like 1930's old time radio, and the unevenness was actually added in post-production. Our goal was to sound like the old radio shows like the Shadow and the Green Hornet. We added some static, some pops and hisses, to sound like an old radio broadcast. Thanks again for your support. Your feedback is valuable and I appreciate it. Take care Dwayne
