On enhancing Enhancing figure skills require sacrificing another figure. How much each sacrifice fills the upgrade bar depending on which skill and which figure. Upgrade costs 1st skill: 8 2nd skill: 16 3rd skill: 32 Figure sacrifice - same figure: 4 - same class: 2 - others: 1 So for the first skill, you need either 2 of the same figures, 4 figures of the same class or 8 other figures. Now, it seems that it's best to use the same figure which is true for the cheapest figures but not for the more expensive ones. The most efficient way to upgrade is actually to calculate the actual costs of using the same figure vs figure of the same class (other figures are the least efficient). The cheapest figures are $150 at the first few stores. If a figure costs more than $300, then it's cheaper to buy $150 figure of the same class. This is true for all classes, except Cute class since the cheapest is like $200+ (cant' remember exactly). If you didn't buy the same figure but got it from drop, then it's cheaper to use it unless sell price is more than $300 (which you can sell it and buy 2 of the cheapest figure of the same class plus change). Skills of the same name on different figures usually have the same upgrade benefit, e.g. Quick Shot upgrade is shield piercing.
I completed the game and don't see any side missions but I also don't have Achievement for all side missions. Is this a bug or I missed something? P.S. There are some canned beans and waffles
Is this a game I should wait to play? I assume more content will be added in future updates and i'll probably only do one playthrough.
My RBB just died bc I forgot he only heals as much as he damages and there were only 2 health left on his opponent. His total health is only 18 and I'm not sure that's enough with the rebalance. Any plans to let us respec characters somehow?
Wow! Thank you. You've definitely been studying this and figured out the best way to do the enhancements! Another newbie question... The game has classes per figure and I recall reading maybe in unwrapper' guide that at the beginning of the battle it is good to see which classes the opponent figures are to form the right team? --- I might have gotten this slightly wrong. But how can I tell the classes of figures and also be able to assess the best figures to use vs other figures? I believe the game has 5 or 6 classes.
What do you mean he died??? I might be confused as I'm still new to the game but are you taking about your rbb died in a tournament? Or do you mean our figure can die if they are in vs or missions? I've mainly completed vs, one tournament, and what appears to be side missions. Actually I can really tell if I've done real mission or side missions as I mainly wonder etc.. My understanding as a newbie is our figures health won't increase in tournaments but I didn't know figures could die?
If their health goes down to zero, they're out of the battle. If all three go down to zero, you lose the battle. That's what I meant. Just never had to worry about RBB dying before the rebalance.
I decided to restart from scratch with the update bc RBB wasn't as good and I wanted to respec him. Didn't take long second time round to make quick progress. He's much better now, but honestly he's become an average character and hardly gets used at all. The rebalance made me really think about characters and skills (instead of bashing away with the previous OP builds) and now I've discovered other powerful favs like Serious Bumblebee, 80's Raven and others that I never considered before etc. You were completely right about wanting character respecs a few pages ago, as the game is very different now. Just my thoughts but if Grumpyface don't add a respec option, I'd recommend a restart bc the game is a lot more fun + challenging 2nd time round with the more balanced update, and you won't feel like you're being cheated with chosen stats that aren't appropriate anymore post update.
Argyle Trigon This is the only character I am missing, I've battled Trigon numerous times yet i still dont get the character after i defeat him. anyone else have this issue?
Yep. You've got it right. Works just like sickening gems in Torchlight. You can change whenever you want, but it destroys the mod you had installed previously. So it makes it important to consider what mod to use, but it's not like you can make a mistake you can't fix. I am pretty sure you can get every mod multiple times, except maybe one that is received in a Cyborg quest.
You get figures after.missions and tournaments, but not for beating people on the street. Go to the villain shop that's open at night. I think he's 900.
I got a mail from E.N. with a riddle. Is there a way to get the Riddler figure or does this mail not correspond with a mission?
RBB is also sold at LexToys so you can re-level him up again instead of restarting. I did start a new game but just to see the game balance and explore other figures. Finished 3rd tournaments which weren't tweaked in the patch so still relatively easy if you're at the right level (~5, 7, 12). Still deciding on the final team up for the rest of the game. Pre-patch, it seems that the only good skills are cheap instant damage, nu-uh (dispel), insta heal and mind control. Post patch, the big damage skill seems to be more cost-efficient. I'm testing out few more skills: - multi-hit: seems potent with high crit build - dance: as 2nd skill, no upgrade yet (training aquaman to test) - curse: upgraded with bar reduction seems to be pretty good Doesn't seem to be worth it still: - purple/charging since it can be interrupted and doesn't seem to do better than the instant version the only one I use is mind-control on mother mae-eye (with fast cast chip and some dodge) - 3x damage: if dodged, it's such a waste of bar.. - heroic buff: too little and can be removed - periodic damage like bot and poison: can be removed and too weak
I've had to completely restart this game twice. The last time I had already beaten it and was working on leveling my figs up. The game just shut itself down and kicked me back to my home menu and when I opened it back up all my data had been erased. Then when I finally resigned myself to starting over I couldn't get past the first task of acquiring the Robin figure. When I buy it from the toy store and try it exit it keeps kicking me back to the starting point of the game and repeating the first instructions.
I personally dont think a respec is necessary, but i wish we can get more copies of the rare reward-only multiverse ones. Levelling up to 20 in this game is such an easy grind, that i think collecting new versions of the characters with different stats and modchips are more preferable than having one character to respec but eat modchips everytime i want to switch types.
I dunno... The rare ones consume a lot of figures to enhance all their abilities. I rather be able to respec them than have to start the process over from scratch. It becomes a grind. I don't even see the point (personally) in leveling up all my characters to 20 just to play the same content over and over.
If we can get both respec and getting multiple copies that would be best. Upgrading the last skill is so expensive, I usually don't bother with the third one since I rarely use the third skill. Using cheapest level 1 figure of the same class, here are the costs to upgrade each skill 1st: 4 x $150 = $600 2nd: 8 x $150 = $1200 3rd: 16 x $150 = $2400 Although if you use higher level figures, you will need less. I haven't figured out what's the optimal level though.
