How about a closet or something where you can display/store unopened figures? Just for fun basically but maybe you can toss in super rare figs with different colored boxes that are "collectible", of course you can open them and use them but they are so rare you'd want to keep them mint in box? I think it might be a fun after-game content
I'm going to second the NG+ and endless tournament ideas. Especially after you get the last few characters, it would be nice to be able to use them and level them up if there was more endgame content. Obviously other stuff like new islands/sectors to explore would be nice, with 20 or so new characters to collect - but please charge us like $1.99 or something to unlock them!
The New Game Plus idea is ok I guess, I think we can do better than that as it has been done to death. Also what's the reward for starting NG+? I don't think many people are interested in resetting their game and upping the difficulty just to say we did, there needs to be a reason to sacrifice that work. That being said you can do that now if that is all you're interested in. Reset your game data and play through using only basic heroes, or not using mod chips etc. I think an endless tournament is a good start but again there needs to be exclusive rewards, figs, mod chips etc that we earn for playing that mode. I think additional maps, expanding the fig roster etc is content people want to play.
Okay, an endless battle mode (that has a game center leader-board) would be awesome! Also, PVP would be really cool. Local or online or both. Also, as I mentioned before, new figs including Mumbo Jumbo, Plasmus, Cinderblock, Mad Mod, Slade, Control Freak, Mas y Menos, Hotspot, Wildebeest, and Batman would be so cool! Finally, I think it would be cool to make mod chips that do more stuff like Spoiler cyborg 's mod chip from Spoiler the end of his quest-line . You know, like "every time this figure stuns their opponent, they get a damage boost" or something like that- who knows?
Thanks people for the tip about the ice cream guy. I haven't found the NPC who gave the quest yet but it would make sense that he just hops around different locations like a lot of others do. I think I found an actual bug this time, though it's fairly minor. I have a Starfire fig, and she knows a party healing skill. The healing amount scales with power, but the tooltip for it always says 4 health (+2 for gold). Again, the skill is actually scaling properly, it's just the tooltip when you hold the skill that doesn't show it scaling. I'm not sure if other healing skills have this tooltip bug. And congrats on the 5-star review too! It's well-deserved, and these devs deserve to be commended for continuing on the premium game route. Games like this are why I actually use my phone as a gaming device. As for postgame content... I agree about NG+, simply because it seems like it would be the "easiest" to implement. I can say I would love to see a level cap increase and a new area or two with more figs and an increase level cap, but that's probably harder to do. As low-hanging fruit (or what I'm guessing would be easy), maybe have an option after beating the game to scale all encounters to level 20? Or perhaps take a page from other RPGs and have some sort of "uber" mode where your enemies are all ten levels higher and can go above the normal level cap? Or just a "hard" mode where your enemies charge their bar slightly faster but give greater rewards.
Like your thoughts. In response to NG+, it would be an option for hardcore players to challenge themselves without having to artificially limit themselves by using low level figurines. The game would ramp up it's own difficulty so the player doesn't have to actively work on their own to make it harder.
Thanks for the quick reply as usual Without having much weight to my input, just like the 5 star review said, it seems to be amazingly fun but short lived. Hopefully there's some kind of way to give the game some kind of endless or longevity. Randomly generated generic dungeons that get harder as you progress (are some kind of equivalent) sound good. And obviously every game could use a new game+
Maybe I am missing it. But if I dont buy a fig, for example a mystery pack. How do I find out if its a 1,2,3, etc. star fig?
I hope there will be a way to redistribute points if a build isn't working out. Or maybe allow points to be automatically assigned in a way that won't severely disadvantage any character. But I'm still having fun!
Can I +1 the new Game+ for several reasons; - relatively cheap to make for you guys - allows keeping the base game easy while offering a good challenge for people that want it What I'd like to see in there: - Tournaments that focus on certain strategies and be really good at those strategies - New chips that make certain strategies more viable - Better AI for the opponents, so they will attack ASAP into charging skills if they could for instance - Some mechanisms that make it easier to level characters (perhaps a chip?) as this allows you to experiment with them more easily - Rare events that allow you to play against very powerful opponents - Rerolling character stats
I love a lot of the ideas people are coming up with, I vote for anything that keeps people playing longer, a newgame + with a few key differences sounds perfect and would extend the lifetime dramatically. Maybe each time you completed the game you got a rare chip reward that adds 5 to the level cap of one fig, to take to the new game? Would I pay money for more content? Absolutely without blinking. Someone has said before, but I would love to see a few save files implemented. I want to start again but I'm not ready to delete my first save yet. Also I was thinking a 'lock' (like the favourites heart) so you don't accidentally feed the wrong fig to Silkie. Even if the game stayed like this forever unchanged, I'd be happy. It's just so fresh and perfectly executed. Took me by surprise how quickly it hooked me.
Also missing MV Gizmo and MV Starfire I'm mostly just commenting to follow the forum. I'm hoping there is a way for me to be able to collect these two figures. The Gizmo mission seemed to skip the part in the middle and as for Starfire I only saw her once and then kept wondering why I didn't see her again. Regardless, I've finished the game and now I am working on leveling up all my characters and playing with the ones that I haven't used yet. I hope there is an expansion! I've been enraptured with it for 3 days. playing whenever I get a spare moment. Is there any data on which platforms have the bugs? I'm playing on my kindle fire. I'm wondering if people who purchased through the apple store or the google play store have the same bugs. Hope there is a patch soon and I can get my characters! This is the most fun I've had playing a game in a while! Thanks creators, developers, CN, etc...
Probably something that would take more work: my daughter kept asking me how to change Titans, I kept telling her at Titan Tower. She wanted to play as Starfire. I'm sure that changing the storyline away from Robin would be nearly impossible without a ton of work, but perhaps if you created some more run/walk animations for your character on the city map, people could at least run around the map with different Titans, either implying that Robin is with them (or even cooler, have Robin follow along behind, Earthbound style...) #3 on the US Top Paid Apps and a "New Games We Love" congrats Grumpyface!!! \/
New Game+ Level Cap New Tourneys New figs New side missions Or just a full on expansion story, the bizarro story comes to mind with all the titans getting new figs(nibor, boy beast and so on) Mix some young justice in or justice league for that fact, already have Darkseid
I have fallen in love with this game and have basically spent the last few days coming up with what I'd like to see implemented in the future. And I know all of this stuff would probably be hard to make, so I don't really expect any of this to happen, but I would still like to see it in the game someday: 1. PVP - This has been a highly suggested one, and for good reason. I think that if the gameplay was a little more balanced and some rules were put in place, then a PVP mode would be great, and would keep many people who've already completed the game having fun. Finally, throw in a few special PVP rewards like exclusive figures and mod chips, and the PVP mode would be perfect. 2. Post game story content - I have come up with two ideas for this category: A Bizarro storyline and a Gotham City storyline. My idea of a Bizarro storyline would have Robin somehow learning that there are figures and tournaments in the Bizarro world, and Robin, being his obsessive self, deciding that he must the the figure battling champion not only in his world, but in ALL worlds, leading him to travel to the Bizarro world and become champion there as well. This extension could have bizarro figures of the characters, and could also include Bizarro figures for other characters who haven't been seen in Bizarro mode yet. Also, preferably, the figures would be upside down on their stands to ad to the feeling of upside down-ness. Next,My idea of a Gotham storyline would have Joker inviting Robin to participate in a series of tournaments in Gotham City, which happens to currently be overrun by Joker's minions and under the Joker's control. There could be new figures added for all of the other Robins who appeared in "The Best Robin", as well as figures for some of the Dynamic Duo's famous enemies. Also, it could include a much needed Batman figure, as well as my personal favorite of my ideas, a Riddler figure which can only be obtained through a special mystery box that costs significantly more than a normal mystery box, and can only be bought once a day. Also, to make sure that there is still a challenge in either of these questlines, the level cap could be raised. 3. Special Event Questlines - I think it would be cool to have events with characters and modchips that are only available for a limited time. For example, seeing as there is a PPG x TTG crossover coming up, there could be a Powerpuff girls event, where you have a certain amount of time to battle Mojo Jojo and his minions to obtain special figures of Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, and possibly Mojo as well; and if you don't unlock them all by the time the event ends, then the ones you didn't get are unobtainable. All right, that's it. And again, I know that these are all very farfetched, and will most likely never get implemented, but I just had to get these ideas off of my chest.
OH and most definitely PVP and in both PVP and PVE get rid of the other players/AI charge bar, make it WAY more intense
Please no. But if we get a PPG version of this game, and it plays PvP against this one, I'd be all over that! Also: please let it be PPG, not PPGZ...
