Quest: guy in line to get into store wants ice cream. I got the quest then battled the guy...he left. I bought the ice cream but no quest completion. I still have the quest. Now, the buy ice cream button is gray & selectable at the ice cream store. Any hope of still completing this?

I had the same thing happen... The same guy moves between a line outside of the store on the main area and the store in the ritzy area that opens up. If he isn't in one location he should be in the other, and if you haven't unlocked the wealth district yet you will be able to finish the quest when you do.

Just be careful with your ice cream as there are two separate quests that use it and you may end up using it for the other one and not realize it, so would need to buy ice cream again to give to the guy in line. Good luck!

Not in the game at the moment, all tournaments have a set number of steps and characters from what I have seen through my completed play through.

I had this happen - I just kept checking back and he was there in line a few days (a week?) later.

Late to the party, but you can easily spot Old School Silkie and George Washington in Riddler packs, as they stick out the side/top - antennae out the left side for Silkie, white point at top/center for George:

Old School Silke with the Tofu chip and shined up is one of my favorites - spam the basic attack and eat all the tofu! ;)

So anyone know why the game needs access to media, files, pictures etc?

Are you seeing this on Android? This is a new security warning with the latest android and it comes up when requesting write access to the SD card which allows the game to install on SD cards. However, the next update will no longer ask for this access since we will be forcing the install locally. You can click deny and the game will still play normally. Hope this helps!

I've never watched teen titans and probably the only DC character I'm familiar with is Batman (I don't think he's even in here..) but with that review and all these comments it's hard to resist this.

Probably won't be as fun discovering characters (like with those mystery boxes) without knowing who the characters are unfortunately.

Does anyone know quickly what the install size is? Going to have to do some phone cleaning!

Dont worry about not knowing all the characters. Im sure you may have heard of a lot of them like Batgirl, The Joker, Robin, Cyborg, Aquaman, Kid Flash... Most of these characters are sidekicks of the main DC ones, or their younger versions.

It's like playing pokemon the first time. Knowing each one is part of the fun :)

Here's a fun build but could be countered hard...

Multiverse Bwana Beast - Tanky build, shiny beatbox
Multiverse Robin - Tanky build, shiny damage buff
Robin/Red Arrow (or anyone with an undodgeable attack)

Basically tank everything out while building up damage, then one-shot them with the undodgeable attack :D

This gets countered pretty hard by cleanse though. :p

    Fun build nonetheless.

Also, the highest damage possible on a first skill is on low-base Atk characters (which means you get the most damage bonus out of the level ups), like Cyborg Head. Mine has his first skill at 19 damage, even though my attack is only 17 or something. Maybe RNG affects the types of level up cards you get to choose from, so it's possible to get over 20 damage if each level up gave you a +atk card. Dances and Battery Charges makes this one of the best setups in the game.

1.0.3 has been submitted to Apple! We hope it will be live within the next 1-2 days, however we will be sure to post on all our channels as soon as it is available. Android update does not yet have an exact ETA but it should be shortly after. This build contains many big fixes as well as some character and tournament rebalancing. We also intend to continue to support the game and make additional improvements beyond this update.

And speaking of that... what would TA like to see in a theoretical content update (other than bug fixes)? We've been taking notes on all the feedback and discussion we've seen so far, but I'd love to hear new thoughts now that the game has been out for about a week.

I'd personally love to see more post-endgame content that keeps players busy... but what form would you guys like to see that take?

Post Endgame content would be awesome. Maybe some kind of arena mode similar to the tournaments where you can't heal between battles but progressively gets harder after each "round" for example round 1 is three opponents and when you when you get a reward and the option to cash out or push on to round 2. Round 2 then thrown more opponents and harder opponents at you and again when you when you have the option to cash out or push on. If you push on a all 6 of your figs fall you lose and keep 0 rewards. If you cash lot after a round or make it through the gauntlet you get all rewards.

Also PvP would be amazing as others have already stated.

Another option I would love is New Game Plus where you play through the game again at a harder difficulty and everything gets reset and each time you beat the game and do a new game plus it gets harder and harder.

From the current state of the game, i dont think PVP will work well. It would need a balancing overhaul i think. For one, Battery Charge will be king. Second, with hard counters like Cleanse effects, some characters will just be useless. That, and that charge skills will be near useless too, but mostly because of Battery Charge which gives instant access to interrupt.

One thing i think that could shake things up is a bit of RNG in terms of damage, in the form of range. Instead of "Deals 5 damage" i think it may be better for PVP to make it "Deal 4 to 6 damage" or something like that. I usually hate RNG, but damage range one of those things that can easily break monotony.

Ok i think im just rambling now. Tired and sleepy, sorry.

Yes, reset the missions, make everybody more difficult (or LOTS more difficult and raise the level cap to 30... or not!) would be a lot of fun. Especially if you manage to sprinkle a few more figure variants in there as rewards for some of the later missions...

PvP (even if it's local WiFi only) would be fantastic. My daughter wants to battle! :D I'd assume it would have to be real time, would make for some nasty fights when both players are timing attacks and switching properly. Beforehand you'd either not get to see their figures, or perhaps see the 6 in their team (and both have to pick 3 semi-blindly.)

Endless tournament should be doable in many forms - no tofu rewards, play until you drop would be the most basic. More restrictive ones like you face later in the game to force you to use other figs (I really enjoyed those!); one where the figures are random every time; a mirror match; a semi-online one where you submit your team & play against teams submitted by others - keep a top X somewhere for people to try and beat, reset it periodically...

    OK, I'll stop now. ;)

EDIT: Improved AI would be lethal. Saving attacks to interrupt charging, using tofu a bit more strategically and better switching would make the existing game a lot more challenging.

Oh yeah... +1 to game plus modes.

Also, how about team bonuses, like All villain team gets +5 HP to each member, or all hero team gets +ducky chance, or maybe something like an All combat team getting first strike (the bar is already filled up to the first skill of the first character).

Oh, and a damage formula tweak. As it currently is, it seems "strong" characters DO NOT get a huge damage bonus when levelling up since the stats are evenly capped.

For example, Monsieur Mallah at Lv4 has a respectable Power of 16. BUT this means he only has a chance of getting a +4 damage to his first skill since he can only get up to 4 more points from levelling up his Power.

However characters like Cyborg Head who may have his Power as low as 3 at Lv2, can get up to +17 Power from his level up stats, which would equate to a 19 damage Quick Punch.

I'm putting in my votes for the endless "survival" tournament as well as the new game+ idea.

Also a great idea, they did this really well in the Injustice mobile game and I always liked how it gave me incentive to collect and then use all the characters from a certain theme. Would work well with the current Multiverse, 80s, etc variations of characters.

Maybe this already exists and I just missed it, but I would love a way to sort my figs by repeats. So instead of having to keep flipping through the pages, I can quickly see what figs are "expendable" by knowing how many repeats I have. Or, along the same lines, stack repeats in your collection and just indicate if you have more than one.

New Game + is a Plus!

I also wholeheartedly support a New Game Plus (+) feature as part of the post-game experience! Make battles more strategic along with a rise in difficulty AND add some new unlockable abilities/features that could only be obtained after you beat the game (New Game Plus).

    Maybe you could:

    -Level cap increase?
-Add an additional slot(s) for mod chip enhancements
-Add additional effects to existing abilities
-Add Secret or Ultimate attacks/abilities (will also be helpful for the increased difficulty)
-Add additional areas on the map that are inaccessible outside of New Game Plus
-The endless tower/endless mode idea is also a good one
-Maybe add new extraordinary characters as rewards for beating secret New Game Plus dungeons or tough missions.
-Let the players either keep their gained levels/items/characters and carry it over to New Game Plus, OR start a fresh New Game Plus with only certain things that carry over...completely up to you.

On a personal note, some of us are hardcore gamers, so making the New Game Plus significantly more difficult, hence forcing us to come up with new strategies, would be a real treat.

I recommend to continue focusing on the longevity and perfection (balance) of the single player experience before implementing any sort of multiplayer features. This game's foundation is strong, and the potential is extremely high! I love the current direction we're moving in, thank you. :)
