Honestly... That's the only thing missing, right? Everything else has been a pure gem! Maybe some extra content, like extra figs and more tournaments... I can't wait to see what they have in the works.
I love every single thing about this game so far. Even if nothing ever changed about the game I'd be happy. She's 7 going on 17, and the 1st grade drama I hear from her baffles me. Guess that comes from (her) being social. 1st grade for me was either dodgeball or sneaking off to a corner to play D&D or Top Secret with my buddies. Just over a year ago I reset my Fire Red and Leaf Green carts and let her choose. We're still playing those occasionally, it's been a blast! As both of our kids love Teen Titans, this game was a no-brainer. Let's celebrate with PIE!
Yeah, my little one is 2 1/2 going on 17....had her daddy wrapped round her finger since the moment she arrived, amazing character, very sociable and confident but such a bossy little madam when she wants to be and woe betide anyone who takes her stuffed rabbit....I've got a very long road ahead of me with this one!
Nothing too crazy... we actually finished this up a few days ago, though these updates take a few days to get approved by Apple. We are currently working on another bug fix update to address some issues that have popped up since launch, as well as some of the ones that have been reported here. That will hopefully be available mid-next week Patch notes below:
@GrumpyfaceChris Still loving this and never thought a man of my age could love collecting digital figures as much as I appear to! The inner child is well and truly released. On another note - is there any chance you could add a 'tap and go to' mechanic for the main map? Or alternatively, set a location and then tap the pointer at the edge of the screen and you automatically run to that location? I like the current control method and it does encourage exploring the city more but I feel sometimes it would be handy (and less fiddly) to just tap a location and let him run there unaided. Maybe it's just me - having the option would be good though if possible?
Thanks so much! Inner child is what it's all about -- no better compliment we can receive! ;D I've actually seen a few people recommend that automated navigation. Definitely something we are taking note of any will be happy to consider. Thanks for the feedback! Thank you!! We envisioned this aspect of the game very clearly the moment we came up with the idea of doing a Skylanders/Amiibo parody. All of us had fond memories of digging through toy racks as kids, finding the hidden rares buried underneath the lame common figures (even hiding figures we wanted no one else to see)... so glad people are enjoying it! Another (smaller) part of the game that we were happy to get in was the 3d figure viewing in the tower (the Figure Wiki). I've been a huge Smash Bros fan since the original, and always loved collecting and reading about the plethora of random trophies in those games. Definitely wanted to bring that over in a small way!
This is lots of fun! I wonder if it would be possible to implement an optional function that allows skill points to be automatically assigned when a character levels up?
Hi Grumpyface, can you enlighten me on how can I know which heroes is on which stars tier in the collection page? I noticed when I buy heroes in shop, they are categorized with stars.
There currently isn't a way to see it after opening a figure's box, I'm afraid. However, the star rankings and box colors you see in stores are only tied to rarity of the figure and do not indicate anything else about the figure itself -- doesn't dictate stats, abilities, etc. Viewing the rarity ranking in the Tower is something we could consider in the future, though
I'm experiencing a bug where after I finished the game Spoiler (beat the last championship, beat Mr. Business, done all of the side missions and collected all of the figures) it's telling me I still have to do "The Numbers": 'Find where to use the special code' but I can't get rid of it and it hasn't given me the "finished all side missions" achievement
Thanks for reporting -- this is actually just a localization label bug and the wrong thing is showing in the story missions box. If you already Spoiler did the special fight after beating the final tournament , there are no more story missions left and you've essentially beaten it I can't recall if the fix for this label bug is in 1.0.1 that went out a few hours ago, or if it's something we fixed in the last few days in the upcoming 1.0.2... Once it's fixed, your story mission slot in the communicator will say something like Spoiler "you are now the mega teeny champion!"
