is there another way to buy or get items without steam credit? Can you buy steam credit cards like itunes cards?
I don't think so, and you can trade items with players, or if you play enough sometimes you will get a random item at a random time. Then you can use those items to craft better items. Try the TF2 wiki if u need more help with crafting.

I keep getting a disconnection problem, and it auto-disconnects me as soon as I get into an online game, and it's pissing me off like crazy.. anyone have a clue why?
Yeah its because they released an update for the game. It probably made it a little unstable for awhile.
Used to play TF2 since it came out. This was the best multiplayer game until they released their Hats & Crafting updates. Now, there are IAP in it, it ain't the same feeling as it was in the beginning. I'm truely sad to see that Valve decided to make it free. Gabe Newell killed his best creation.
