this is def the best match 3 of the year. best game of the week as well

 

Not sure I like how coins are used. It means you can just grind for tons of coins, save them up and then get overpowered on a run.

Or am I missing something?

 

right, you don't even have to grind that long either. i maxed out my first character on three runs
BUT
its still not an issue for me because i still have trouble beating a lot of the levels even maxed.
i like all the characters that are unlocked. i haven't even tried two of them yet so their is a lot of content and game left for me after playing for hours

 

I mean to save up coins for other items on a run.

 

About the saving question,

In this version, if you tap the home icon in the item inventory window, you'll jump back to the hero selection WITHOUT saving anything.(Now I know it's not good by your feedback) Just like some other rogue-like game, Dungeon-Raid for example.
We've set a backup function. When app crashes or turned off and then you start the game again, you may start from the beginning of your last stage.

In the next patch, we will add the saving function when you quit. That means, after you tap the home icon during a certain stage, you may start the game from the beginning of that stage with all your money and items. To prevent from cheating, you can’t go back to the exact turn when you quit the game.

 

So you guys spending money on the classes abilities or buying gear stuff at the end of stages?

 

After my initial runs, I just started saving all my gold. Upgrading classes and then I'll hoard for a while. Got to tavern 10 so far without spending any coins on items.

 

I am upgrading my first hero hero mainly then when maxed will buy gear during runs

Possibly a daft question but I take ur that the hero upgrades stay between runs but the gear and stuff doesn't?

Yup! So makes sense to just upgrade all your heros as soon as possible.

I absolutely love this game. Incredibly addictive. This may be top 10 all time for me. Can't put this or Rhom Bus down right now. Two killer games in one week. Noice!!!!!!

 

Late to the party but loving the game.
Great blend between roguelike and match 3 that requires some serious strategy.
Wild variety of enemies, items and different effects.

Finally, a premium match 3 game without all the FTP craziness! Such a great, great game. I'm really enjoying it. I've only made it to level 2 so far. Very challenging!
