Interesting. So the tavern just lasts so long at that level that you can't complete it in one sitting?
Yes that is what he is implying. I can see that happening at his level. At 57 I have enough heal / regen items stacked that when combined w the increased ice barrier item it is rare that my actual health pool gets damaged. Now imagine that versus a boss whose heals are greater than your damage output. Just keep the app open in the background and it doesn't reset progress. You can see this happening yes?
Yeah I'm actually experiencing this now. On tavern 59, he kept going underwater and healing like 500+ HP while bringing up his 700+-HP tentacles. It lasted so long, I was losing interest altogether.
Tavern Guardians isn't bad, but it needs more to do. If you want a puzzler with a little more meat on the bone, I'd highly recommend Shadow Wars. Shadow Wars has a much more expansive story mode, and multiplayer and clans.
While all for more classes, baddies, and variety, the last thing I need in a fun little highscore chaser is more story.
I haven't updated yet. I'm in middle of a game on tavern 73 and do I really want to cripple her when the leaderboards are still filled with people who used the overpowered mage? This is why it's so important to get the balance right from the beginning in a high score chaser. I dunno...maybe since she stayed overpowered for so long, it should have stayed that way and either balance the other characters out or give them all separate leaderboards?

I'm also getting stuck in endless loops on the healing boss. I love this game and have played it daiky since purchase, but that constantly-healing boss brings everything to a halt. Get rid of that, and I'll have zero complaints whatsoever!
