Thank you for saying this! It's *exactly* what I set out to try and do! You've just made me a very happy developer
Really enjoying this while still trying to master the draft mechanic and controls. Is the idea to be tapping pretty much constantly and then holding only for drafting/straightening purposes? Can a draft bonus be achieved without holding? I still need to figure out when holding will straighten versus brake. Anyway, this is a really clever game and I definitely recommend it.
The idea is to find the right rhythm that lets you drive fairly straight but allows you to judge when to let the car veer further one way to avoid cars. (Tapping too quickly makes this more difficult) Holding the screen : Basically if something is in front of you within a certain distance, holding will attempt to speed match that car so you don't crash. So doing that means you can't slipstream. If nothing is in front of you, holding will lock you at top speed for about 2 seconds before gradually slowing down. So you can use this if there's a gap between 2 slower cars you want to straighten up for. But you cant use it to just drive straight the whole time. To get a draft bonus, you have to use the slipstream long enough so you're still travelling above your normal top speed when you gain a place.
Game mechanics are good but... I have never seen that many advertisements in a game together, in my life.
Yes, you can occasionally get a popup ad after a race and an offer of a reward video on the next screen. I'll change that. There is a 2 race and 90 second limit between popup ads tho, which I didn't think is that bad? Will adjust the frequency in the 1st update. But glad you like the gameplay
