All, It has been a while since Tap Transcend has been on my mind. We have learned a lot as a team since Tap Transcend launched last year, and we have decided to use our new experiences to build an all new Tap Transcend 2. Tap Transcend had its good sides and bad sides, and we are going to use everything we have learned to create a much greater game! We are at a very conceptual phase right now, so any requests or comments on what could make the original game better will be taken into account as we develop the next game. We already have the rough framework built for Tap Transcend 2, and it is a smooth 60fps with no hiccups like we experienced in the last game. We are very excited about building the next step and look forward to your insights. We will post Tap Transcend 2 in the Upcoming Games thread in a couple of weeks when we have ironed out a few details. We will also be doing TestFlight beta this time around. We are open to anyone signing up for our beta round of Tap Transcend 2 which we plan to get the first beta build in a month or so. Good to hear. Tap Transcend was a fun playthrough. I'd like to see more of the "decision / consequence" type events in the new game and have them have even more variety of potential effects. That was the most memorable part of the experience for me. The "final encounter" was also an interestingly structured event that made it stand out as more than "just another clicker."
Laire - Thanks for the feedback. We will definitely add more choice related events in the story. We are also modeling the growth path as scientifically as possible this time. We are excited to start revealing Tap Transcend 2's development soon!

The main question is are you going to have it as a story mode or endless? One thing you could have done was made it episodic so you could have released further content. Billy
Glad this developer got ahold of me about this new tap 2 coming out . Can't wait to try this out and give my feedback. If it's anything like the first and I'm sure it will be in ways then I'm excited. Big fan of clickers and this was a great one. I have been keeping track of all the really good clickers because it is my favorite genre that is overlooked a lot or discarded by many because there are those clickers that have no depth but when done right u get a really good clicker with a lot of layers . This game made clickers look good and so after searching the web and not finding a list of good clickers I took it into myself to atleast make a somewhat complete list of all the clickers worthy of giving a try so you will be playing the ones with depth to them. LordShadowz - It is kind of hard to explain what we are shooting for.. basically, we are going to try and combine story driven elements from the original Tap Transcend with the more generic idler approach of endless growth. So in a way it will really be both. Jayg2015 - thank you for the continued support.

Thanks Jayg2015. It's a strange feeling when I open the original Tap Transcend. We have come a far way since our first idle game, but it will always have a special place in my heart. I can however not get over how we left the UI in such a wire-framed state
