Uh no it doesn't. At least not in the way that they mean. They mean the new DLC that is possible with 3.0 that can be payed for. The DLC now is on the Tapulous servers and isn't the same thing.

The main interface is very nice, but the gameplay graphics don't look anywhere near as spectacular as TTR2.

Looks like a repackaging of the same crap.
I only hope the hit detection is improved tenfold.
I couldn't play the previous two it was so bad.

Yes I believe the game made the music off to mess with your mind so you would get the beat wrong

    Is this guy for real?

That's not what he meant, read the post. Hit Detection has nothing to do with the music. It means that the taps aren't detected. Not that hard.

I agree with him, the middle button was always a pain. I'd tap it and I'd lose my streak even though I KNOW I had tapped it. I even ran tests to make sure I wasn't going crazy. The hit detection sucks.

I never have any problems with hit detection. If you hit the notes exactly with the music you'll get them...

What iDevice do you guys have, because I do remember having problems on my 1G iPod Touch?

I had the exact same problem on my iPod touch 2G, turning off push and fetch seemed to improve it but still had some problems

After upgrading to OS 3.0 on my 2g ipod touch, the tap detection of the Tap Tap games got worse. After adding a memory manager (paid 2 bucks for one), the tap detection improved way beyond what it had been under OS 2.2.1 and earlier. Now I'm getting certain taps right without doing anything differently. Not losing the streak so much makes the game less frustrating and more relaxing compared to how the experience was back when the game seemed to "cheat" me when it seemed that I tapped correctly. It's the tap-and-holds that improved the most. Other games also control much better under OS 3.0, but TTR2's performance suffers the most whenever I forget to run the memory manager first. Just a tip for those who don't already know.
