Woof, steep price for another tap tap game...
Um... what? That's... Dr Awesome...
EDIT: Ah, your typo. Nevermind
LoL yea... *Nothing to see here* move along...
Looks like fun. The new engine looks a lot better, and I bet plays a lot better, too. Does this mean this will eventually be free if it's coming in 2009 as an update and this is just a preview?
It does look tempting, but c'mon! I just bought TapTap NiN edition 3 weeks ago!
I mean seriously when is it gonna end! I'm gonna go broke by Christmas if this keeps up! Oh and I know Simcity is just around the corner, I can feel it. I am going to hold out for that,,,
Aw man, I was disappointed with the NIN edition. I like some of NIN's songs but most of the ones on that game were kinda dumb. I really hoped they had hand that feeds on it.
Anyway, I don't know if I'm gonna buy this one or not. I'm tempted to, but I just don't know... Guitar Rock Tour is good enough for me I guess.
Edit: It's only got 10 songs??? And no online play??? Screw it
Tap Tap Dance soundtrack features:
- Technologic by Daft Punk
- Zdarlight by Digitalism
- Phantom Pt II (Soulwax Remix) by Justice
- Stratosphere by Junkie XL
- Disco Lies (Remix) by Moby
- Midnight Madness by The Chemical Brothers
- Goldrush by Tiesto
- Compressor by Soul Magic Orchestro (Exclusive)
- Where's Your Head At by Basement Jaxx
- Daylight (Exclusive Morgan Page Remix) by Sunny Levine
With classic and well-known hits such as these ^^ this app is absolutely, what's the word I'm looking for?, oh yeah: craptastic...
I think i'm going to wait. I think Chase makes a good point with the 2009 update thing...
Personally I think that is a pretty good list.
They're going to put the engine onto Tap Tap Revenge, but it won't have the same songs as this one.
Damn, it wouldn't be tempting at all if it didn't have Technologic...
Though if you really want to see the new interface early, I guess $5 would be alright. And they might continue to update this with bigger features.
This game made this series kind of confusing. I wish they'd explain their motive in releasing this.
Ah, okay, that makes sense. Do you work with Tapulous?
And I agree with others that it's a pretty fun decent list of songs. Are there downloadable songs for this version?
Well, while I don't agree with what you've..........Cultural differences I guess...
I doubt they'll update it. NIN edition is still on version 1.0.1. Neither NIN or Dance have online play and neither have downloadable songs. Tap Tap revenge has more options and a ton more songs for $5 less than either of their other Tap Tap games.
Stick with Tap Tap Revenge. The other two completely suck (unless you are a hardcore fan of either dance music or NIN).
Is it good?
Is it limited to those 10 songs or does it have the other TTR songs?
Someone please answer.
I haven't bought it, but I can tell you right now that you're getting a better deal sticking to Tap Tap Revenge. Like others have said, the new engine is coming to TTR for free in 2009. Just wait til then. If you really really REALLY like dance music, you might want it. But most people don't seem to be interested.
Hope that helps a little
Blech. Yep, pass.
I'm actually one of the developers who worked on this game and the new codebase, and I'm personally very excited for this new engine and for this game as well.
We did a lot to really push the gaming experience of TTR with Tap Tap Dance. We added in new mechanics like tap and hold and multitaps, but for me what really changes things up are the new Boss Tracks in the game. They not only change the theme and can change entire scenes dynamically, but as the track is played they change how the game looks and plays for the user.
Yep, i've been waiting for TTR Daft Punk Edition, this is pretty tempting right now
