Loving this game! I love this game! Such a simple mechanic, so satisfying! Great art, animations, music, vocals... Great work! Some notes: BUGS: - After I revive, the music starts playing again, even if I've chosen to mute the music. - With Airplane Mode on, if I choose to revive via video ad, it just leaves me stuck with a pile of ashes. - Everyplay video replay doesn't always show me the game I just played... It seems to show me an older game. UI: Currently, two of your icons are: - "Speaker": toggles music - "Musical notes": toggles sound It seems like those should be switched. GAMEPLAY: - I paid the $3.99 for the whole set (so I could support your great work!). I was a little disappointed that the armor + weapons were just cosmetic, rather than adding to my powers / defense in some way. - And now the coins aren't worth much to me, because I can watch ads to revive (unless I'm in airplane mode!). Like other comments, I'm hoping there will be more things to buy especially things that add to the gameplay in some way. - I'm looking forward to more types of opponents, that require their own ways to defeat them! - When my power bar fills up, the game performs the Kill Everyone move automatically. But sometimes there aren't a lot of opponents there when it happens. It might be cool to allow me to do it when I want maybe via an icon in a bottom corner? (Or maybe a special gesture like swipe, or tap-with-2-fingers.) - Some other special moves could be cool too, as long as they don't affect the game's simplicity, - It could be fun to have an Encyclopedia of all the types of opponents, showing their attack styles, back-stories, etc. - Like a previous commenter, I think the game would go great with missions, challenges, different worlds, etc. - What does the hammer do? I don't know if I've seen it used in the game. - The little flying skeletons in capes: are those the mages? They're sneaky hard! I love them! Keep up the great work! Kid B
Karaoke it's already on my to-do list, it's a great addition Lwaley it's a pleasure Kidbeyond thank not only for such a great review, but also for buying inapps in my game. I want to ensure you that I will create quite huge update in the future. What is more for guys who have already bought full set inapp I will try to implement all new things for free (after restoring purchases). I hope it will work perfectly. I'm still considering many things, I don't want to spoil actual gameplay but I'd love to give the players more and more Oh and the hammer is just a skin, only an extra life has influence on gameplay. I was under the impression that collecting all the golden weapons/armor would give you an extra hit point. Is this correct? Having fun with this for sure. High score is now 128. One addition I'd really like to see is Game Center achievements. This is the perfect type of game for it. That may also give people who have all the upgrades some incentive to keep coming back. Some examples: Score 25, 50, 75, 100, 150pts in a game, etc. An achievement for each piece of armor collected and another when you get the whole set. (I bought the no ads and coin doubler but not the "Full Set"). Beat x amount of enemies (cumulative). Play 5, 10, 20 days in a row, etc. I'd be glad to keep going if you'd like ideas
Hey man, I just saw this message, well that's strange because apparently my high score is 105, maybe I had a wifi drop when GC was trying to submit my score. Well I have to get chopping to surpass your 128 score, I'm on my way Note to dev, I love this game, it has the most perfect pick up and play mechanic and the pixel art is gawjuss, looking forward to future updates with maybe more characters and more upgradeable armour/weapons, I laid my money down!
Fun little game indeed. I purchased the ad removal almost instantly and the opt in ads for 100 coins got me to +1 life very quickly. It is really easy to get into but the variety of enemies and punishing one mistake insta deaths keep the challenge up. Quick sessions make it a very good pick up and play game as well. Fitting sounds,nice animations and overall a quality product rounds this one out. I hope more variety gets added and maybe even another play mode could really change things up as the gameplay itself is repetitive and could get boring after a while. Another minor rant is that the golden sword is way too bright in comparison to the armor, which should be fixed. Overall 4/5

I think I caught a bug: If you have the full set and lose both while close or above your previous score and you die for the second time you can watch an ad again, as if you just lost your first life. If you do you lose your score and just see a pile of ash and need to return to the menu with the back button at the top left. Really sad, finally broke my Highscores by quite bait 120-140s and then lost it like that, huge bummer!

Sure. So let's make it simple: I have full armor with a sword (so +1 life). If my Highscore is 1000 and I get to 50 and lose a life. Then I get up to 1050 and I lose my second life instead of straight up dying I get the option to watch an ad or pay 100 coins to continue again (even though I already lost the xtra life from my full set). If I watch the ad regardless I just get a pile of ash screen afterwards with no highscore etc. I then need to use the newly appeared back to menu button on the top left to return to the main screen. Most importantly: My score is not recorded. So I lost my new highscore Hope you get it now, if not just let me know! Cheers!

I really do love this game. I still hate those bomb holding aholes lol. Dev are you working on any other additions to the game? Any sneak peeks? I was playing thismorning and it's such a well made, fun game. Billy
