Guess I'm not the flappy bird type gamer. Yeah it's polished but is there anything that really needs polishing? It's not like you're having tons of features. What about left/right tapping instead of tap where you want? What about scoreboards with friends like fb? What is the video button in the options for? What about different heros/locations? What about achievements? You only get one chance. People see you're game now. When you add all this stuff one or two months later, no one will see it. Better add fast. Good things are: pixelart is timeless and animations are smooth. F2P is fair.
Thank you guys for new opinions DanteOne I decided to release the game, because in my opinion it's good enough to attract people. I tried to polish the graphic and feel of the gameplay. I am a huge fan of flappybird games, I have all games from happymagenta and often play them I was afraid of going into "non-stop update trap". If the game gets a proper attention I will prepare a huge update with new heroes and backgrounds. My plan was not to create a zillion copy of timberman. What is more one-tap game and the background music create a rhytm, I won't change it for sure because it would be a different game then. The game is a small thing and I thought that gamecenter, sharing on twitter/fb and sharing video from gameplay is enough, but I will consider adding this feature It's just a switch for recording video of your gameplay. In the gameover menu you can share your gameplay on everyplay. and this is a great advice, it's a must in the next update! Thank you for liking the graphic, cheers
What you have is good so far, but I agree with DanteOne, that the game needs more to sustain my attention in the future. Overall, its a good pick up and play game. Simple controls. Easy and quick to learn. Nice job.
Really awesome game, reminds me of Timberman a little but it's slightly better. Animation and generally the art style are really cute. Keep up the good work, we need more games as polished as this one!
FilMJ there are interstitials between 5 games and I setup a minimum time between them. There is an inapp which removes ads for 0.99$ It's the cheapest option in appstore. I spent a lot of time with this project and I have to live so I can't leave the game for free. What is more the situation in gamedev market is hard and it usually ends like this
that's all i wanted to know. I appreciate your honesty. 1 buck is really fair imho, and not only for indie games.
Luciom it isn't available for android for now. Wiesse when you enter the shop for the first time there is an information that unlocking full set and a weapons gives you and additional life + special attack during the game.
Any plan to release it for android? if so, ETA? just to be able to know how often to check, the game seems very interesting
I want to echo everyone's sentiments and say that this is s great game. However I noticed that even if you disable the music it still continues to play in the background.
Why does the knight stab his sword into the ground only to have to pull it back out immediately? That seems silly.
Luciom I will consider the android version. For now I would like to focus on iOS and players support. Brawwwn haha, this game is a little bit cartoon, as you can see how does the opponents run/attack etc. so I think it fits the game style Guys the game got featured for sure in the Europe, I still don't know how does the rest of the world look like, but I'm so happy Thank you all
Finally it's on store. This is quite nice pixel graphics along with good gameplay. You can feel it everytime you swing the sword ! Lookin' forward next update ! Good luck bro.
applicattura - I saw you featured in the U.S. store! Congrats, I'm kind of jealous really Also, if you don't already, I'd recommend www.appannie.com it will give you a lot of information on international store ranks and features etc.
