B:the sweettooth gang took it A:those bastards..... hahah thats pretty much how the story starts. i just played the first 2 levels....which just consisted of beating up ninjas untill i get enough candy for the master. haha i also played a quick round of survival on mt. fuji.....its solid....i like it a lot. ithink putting in a survival mode is a nice touch.....adds replayablity. for some reason it reminds me of double dragon a little bit.... for me.....its a keeper. controls are solid.....the art style is pretty awesome......and i dunno everything just runs smooth. another great platformer.....this and soosiz is definitely the best 2 out there. to me anyway... GOLD
Why repeat everything that everyone has just said - can say the graphics are great - can say the controls are tight - can say that its engaging and definitely worth it - but I will just say AWESOME and so worth the wait! I agree with Big Albie too - get a game for what it is NOW and not for promised updates - if they come through BONUS - if not you still have an awesome game!
I'm all for supporting the devs and how much time and effort they put in. Instant buy from me. So far I'm loving it and a complete sucker for beat 'em ups
I am not 'expecting' or hoping for 99 cent games. I am hardly cheap, I have bought about 900 games. I am just sick and tired of getting burned. One example was when I got Dragon Portals on the release date. Hours after I paid 4.99, it dropped to .99 By the way, there are probably 50,000 posts in this forum that could be said as a "waste of a post". I don't think anyone was complaining, everyone is just trying to get the story right.

No, they were complaining. This isn't a pissing contest to see who has as many games, it was simply me expressing frustration that the majority of posts about this new game was about the price point.
This is a very polished game. You can tell a work of love when you see one. Congrats from a felow developer
oh come on there were maybe two actual complaints about the price. the rest were about price confusion, and end with positive interest in the title(a lot of these people have already since bought the app). i understand where you're coming from, but i don't think we're seeing the same thread.
I was one that originally asked if we were delusional when we remembered that somewhere it was written that the game was going to be released at 99 cents. I have not only since retracted my question due to my re-reading the posts but I bought the game and echoed the sentiments that its awesome. There are some threads where people complain about 99 cent price drops, sales, too expensive etc. But I don't think this was one of them. Most said they thought it was posted as a release of 99 cents. A question not a complaint. Those that asked for impressions before purchasing are fair as well, not complaints. 3.99 is not an impulse 99 cent purchase - 40% of a 10 dollar iTunes card. I don't blame people that might only have that much in their account to see if the game is as good as it seemed etc. Many of those that asked for impressions have actually already stated that after reading the reviews they already purchased it. Come on, many of us have already admitted we were going crazy when we thought we read it was being released at 99 cents. That's hardly complaining! Let's talk about the game.

Haha I have to agree with everyone, the story is great. So far, I've only learned spin-kick and the regular punches, and I've been collecting green candy for the past 15 minutes. Great game. Worth it.
