"STAY TUNED - Major update incoming in the next few weeks" I had messaged the dev to ask about whether we can add our own games again due to the change in Apples policy as you used to be able to. So i presume that'll be the change. For those who dont know it emulates the beloved ZX Spectrum home computer. Thats what i started out on in the 80's, love those games and the memories
I do find the internet amazing. When music first started appearing for me in 2000 i was like wow ! The fact my 'friend could download songs just like that Then films But also comic books ! I've got whole collections of various comics and also magazines. having them on my phone at all times is a mini dream. As well as an app hoarder on my phone i also have tons of magazines/comics, love it !
With MAME no where to be seen yet i'm using this iFBA (Final Burn) a fair bit. It was all in japanese (could still use it and play it) but theres just been an update with localisation. I basically copied my MAME roms to this app and i'm going through seeing what ones work and what ones dont. A lot work so i'm loving this app
Thanks ! Just bought it, i'll give it a go later. Need some classic PC games on my phone !! Now just MAME !! Thats the one for me ! Edit - Opened itunes, dragged a few folders onto iDOS3. Worked a treat, quick go of Dark Forces and Nam. Unsure if i could play for hours on end ! But game runs perfect speed, just need to get used to how to tweak a few things. But so far so good
Just bought iMSX, £1.99. Never had an MSX as a kid but quite like the games i've played through emulation previously. Nemesis is a great conversion, quite fun going through the large catalogue seeing what games are decent. Being Japanese they have a ton of Konami games. Again just waiting on MAME now and once thats out i'll be ecstatic !
