Just saw that this now available on the PlayStation store, I immediately bought it. Thanks Nomad! Edit: unfortunately it seems the runestones are not being offered when choosing a game using them.
Has anybody else noticed the game, even after downloading the supposed higher res textures, looking like blurry nonsense since yesterday's update? I'm playing on an iPad Pro and KNOW it wasn't this blurry before.
Are you guys still having this problem? The last update (submitted on the 7th April) was meant to fix this. Please make sure you close and reboot the game after downloading the extra data.
Oddly enough, I didn't have the problem until receiving that last update. Even did a fresh uninstall/reinstall to no avail.
That is odd. Try this - Uninstall Talisman from your device. Go to your iCloud settings and delete the Talisman data in there. Re-download the game and run it, choosing to download the extra data. When it's finished downloading the data, close the game down completely and then run it again. Let me know if this works. Sorry for the hassle.
I also had blurry with the latest update. I loaded up tonight, still blurry, checked for update manually, small high res download (19mb), restarted game and now all ok back to normal. Good as gold.
So... with the parting of ways GW and FFG, I understand that Talisman 4E is being discontinued. Does that mean that support for Talisman Digital is also over, or ending? Are we still going to see the conversions of the last several expansions, through Cataclysm?
I was wondering about that too. Last time I looked, I couldn't find any obvious FFG branding in the app.
Holy cow, you're right! Not even in the small print on the first loading screen. That seems very odd -- I thought FFG owned the expansions at least -- but so it is. Maybe that bodes well?
The parting of ways between GW and FFG doesn't affect Talisman: Digital Edition at all. Our agreement was always with GW, not FFG. The Dragon expansion is next, and then there's not many left!
Woodlands will be great. In the meantime, the seemingly-minor patch of letting players use characters without using their expansion is just amazing. It has totally revitalized my game: I get to use my favorite character, the elementalist, without using The City, which is sometimes game-breaking.
