Just downloaded the update and highland as of now is still unavailable the game says highland is coming next, maybe it will be available a little bit later. Also yesterday before the update I had a game where on turn 2 where the AI Monk attacked the AI Priest with the bloodbath option disabled. I thought characters of the same alignment were unable to attack each other with bloodbath disabled with the exception being acquiring a special piece of equipment. I have only played a couple games of Tailsman in my life so I might be missing something obvious but I found that odd and just wondered is that a bug or a simple rule oversight on my part. I had all the expansions turned on that were available at the time (reaper, frostmarch, dungeon).
I'd make use of it. Been playing this with my daughter (mirrored to our Apple TV/LCD screen) on the weekends and often we don't finish a game in one sitting - meaning I can't play a game by myself during the week if I want to preserve our weekend game.
To add to that, after reinstalling the game, the restore purchases button doesn't do anything, in addition to the highland expansion not being available. There goes the road trip lmao.
Just wanted to chime in and say that I would also like to have additional save slots, so we can have more than one game going. Just waiting for the Expansion and new character to go live so I can buy them. Edit: Thank You to the devs for giving us the Ninja and Pirate characters for free! Any news on when the community created character is going to be available for purchase?
The new content is purchaseable, but I still can't restore anything or buy it. Gonna reinstall again.
I have updated fine and got the new expansion, however the improved graphics don't seem to work. I get the message saying download improved graphics, which I do, they all download with out any errors, but the old low quality graphics are still being used when I restart the app.
After the third reinstall, I was able to manually repurchase everything I owned for free, but none of the expansions show up during the game or rules or anything, and all the associated chars aside from the standalone ones are still greed out despite the expansions showing purchased, including the new highland one.
You have to play with an expansion in order to use the characters associated with it. You choose expansions and house rules in the button below the character selection when starting a new game.
Ugh, thanks a bunch, had completely forgotten. Been so long since I had to reinstall the game that I completely assumed it'd just enable everything like I had it before. Thanks again man, envy thing works fine now.
It's all good, I have a bit of the short term memory loss myself. I have been playing the expansion a bit and have to report that I am also getting some lower quality graphics displayed despite having downloaded the high quality graphics. The lower quality graphics are only visible on the backs of cards when opponents draw cards. iPad mini 2 iOS 7.1.2
Having the same issue. The bottom center grey window during play also looks a bit low resolution on my iPad.
This is great if you can make it through! Btw, I am waiting for the Woodland expansion. Could not wait to play with the Paths
The AI can be pretty terrible in this game. By setting the AI speed option lower do they make any better decisions?
Please try this again. Go to the advanced options and choose 'check for updates', then reboot the game and it should prompt you to download more data. Then reboot again and you'll see the difference.
They won't make different decisions. The AI speed is just that, the speed. The AI isn't that bad is it? Often things happen so fast that people don't see the alternative options that the AI avoided. It always tries to choose its best option for that situation.
