Any tips for landing? I always seem to be going too fast, or tried to land when I'm too high and end up crashing straight down.
My suggestion would be to use the autopilot for thrust (speed). Of course the minimal speed depends on the plane (in case of small planes around 80 knots, medium planes I'd say 100-120 knots and big planes 150-200 knots). Anyway set the speed on the autopilot and activate your brakes just before landing (the color of the brakes icon will be red). After you touchdown turn the thrust down - this will deactivate the autopilot and your plane will stop. Imo that's the best way . Cheers!
Well yes, this allows us to use some new iOS features and not support by default older devices such as the iPhone 4.
I set the speed to autopilot but I can't seem to control the plane angle just before touchdown i.e. I can't lift the nose up and end up crashing.
Try with different speed and flaps settings . You might be flying a bit too slow. At low speeds and with extended flaps the plane just slowly decreases the altitude and it's much harder to make maneuvers because your wings surface is larger. To land at low speed and with extended flaps you need to be perfectly aligned to the runway and at the optimal altitude. So my advice would be to keep your flaps at "0" and set the autopilot to a higher speed (but not too much). Then you will have better control of the plane - it will be harder to slow down after touchdown though, so try to land at the beginning of the runway. And if you can't move the nose up just push the throttle to full power for a second or two to regain full control. And after touchdown (or just before) make sure to turn on the brakes and set the throttle to idle. Hope this helps .

Game crashes about 5 seconds after start of Jetlliners-> Mission 3. Can't play this mission because of that. The plane I had to buy for this mission works fine in World Map.
Thanks for reporting. Did you update the game? And on what device does the problem occur? Afaik usually closing all opened apps and restarting the device helps, but if it doesn't in your case make sure to contact the app support. Cheers!

First thing, love the game. Landing could be a tad more accurate, but I really like the virtual joystick controls. I've got a problem with getting online however. I am connected over wifi and data but the game keeps showing that I'm offline. I can't access the world map, nor the shops. And I'm tried reinstalling to no avail. It's a major bummer that half of the game is inaccessible to me.
I like flight sims and finally picked it up I would say flight world simulator has the right idea just the execution is poor Def take a look at it
I'm glad I picked this game up sure it may not 100% realistic and you can't fly across the globe for hours but I find this to be the most fun to play flight sim on the market. Infinite flight is my fav sim on market now that and X Flight 10 but this one really shouldn't be compared to those. Overall it's just a ton of fun for me. I am currently working on my pilots license for real and so I'm enjoying all the flight sims I can get my hands on and this one doesn't disappoint. Looking forward to more to come with this game!
